Logic
The Bills currently have -- and insanely enough, I don't think this is hyperbole or exaggeration -- potentially the greatest athletic specimens at both quarterback and middle linebacker that the league has ever seen. I'm not saying they're the best ever, or that they WILL be the best ever at their positions. I'm just saying that from a purely athletic standpoint (and their smarts and work ethic don't hurt, either), both Allen and Edmunds have the POTENTIAL to be among the greatest to ever play their positions. That's pretty ***** exciting. 5

During warmups, whole team is lined up spread out every 5 yards on the 5 yard lines (10,15, 20 etc). Not Cam, he’s dancing between the lines, doing his own thing, twirling around, making noise while everyone, everyone is in sync doing what they’re supposed to be doing. Also everyone has their pads on, not Cam. Then comes individual position warmups.... still no pads on. We are like almost 20 mins into practice where the whole panther team is moving as one, except Cam. He’s a clown, with that hairstyle, lined up wherever and twirling around and with his loud mouth, he’s a cancer. Finally he decided to put on his pads like 30 mins into practice. Let me tell you, during 11 on 11 the Buffalo Defense was getting to him, putting pressure on him but of course it’s practice and they aren’t allowed to touch him. That’s gonna change Friday. Also he has 2 big pass plays, on 2 plays we rushed our DBs and asked Hughes to cover and Murphy to drop into coverage. Once again Bills tapped him, had pressure but since Cam was allowed to sit and throw he had extra time and completed the passes. What you read and actually see are totally different. I hope our defense is screaming to be let loose on Cam to shut his big mouth and drive him into the dirt. I bet Cam only plays 1 or 2 series. Can’t stand the *****. couldn't agree more. I would give you 5 championships if i could. But now cbiscuit will be mad

BillsFan4
Rivera praising Bob Babich and Edmunds - (Edmunds quote we’re already posted, so I’ll just post this part -) https://wgr550.radio.com/articles/news/tremaine-edmunds-made-quite-impression-panthers-coach-ron-rivera Quote “I think he’s got a really good position coach in Bob Babich, Sr.,” Rivera said of the Bills linebackers’ coach. “I was with Bob when we were in Chicago and we had Brian Urlacher and Lance Briggs, and Bob told me, ‘this guy is a combination of both of them,’ and that’s kind of cool to hear.” I have heard/read numerous times that Bob Babich Sr. is one of the most respected LB coaches in the NFL. Heard he’s supposed to be one of the best, too. McDermott has really done a good job IMO of putting together a top notch staff.

McD was a brand new HC and has "churned" the bad coaches for better pretty quickly to get to the point they are at now. I think he has done well. Now if he can only find a guy who can watch replays and tell him when and when not to throw the red flag............we're set!

Also a phenomenal job by the F.O at adding blue Chip impact players . Edmunds , Milano , Hyde/Poyer combo , Oliver , Allen then you got guys like Foster, Levi,Taron Johnson etc etc for anybody I'm missing. Bottom line , I remember from day 1 Beane said something that stuck with a me now 3 years later , that he's building this team to sustain success for years and we certainly have the makeup of a team that's gonna have a great core for years to come. I said this many times - we struck gold with McD/Beane.. I believe this is year 1 of many successful years

I honestly was trying to understand what made the Panthers so relevant, and being a fan of said team? It would help my argument if I did not feel like McBeane pays homage to that org. That being said, they have had some success against NE where others have not so perhaps there is a blue print that McDermott and Beane feel they can follow that will finally give us the edge we need to get over those AFC East #### blockers. It was petty commentary, and probably just butt sore that more Bills fans turned out than wanna-be Panther fans.

elroy16
Far too often over the years the middle of the field is abused by other teams because the linebackers and safeties do not cover well. Between Hyde, Poyer, Edmunds, and Milano, it looks like this team might have this issue covered. Edited August 16, 2019 by elroy16
