BillyWhiteShows 482 Posted March 1 (edited) Yes I get that this premise is ridiculous but the answers and rationale will probably be really funny. Lets say Sean McDermott wakes up tomorrow and realizes his heart isn’t into football. He resigns and the Bills can only select a FORMER Bills head coach to replace him. Who do you choose and why? This is some lost fans Gregg Williams Mike Mularkey Dick Jauron Perry Fewell Chan Gailey Rex Ryan I am sure most people will take Gregg’s since he’s the only coach on the list that’s still working at the defensive coordinator level. Would it be crazy to want to Chan another shot? Yes I know he’s 70 or so, but with a strong defense I think he’s the best shot, Edited March 1 by BillyWhiteShows 1
Buftex 383 Posted March 1 If these are my only choices, I would say Perry Fewell...he is the only one I am not sure sucks. 3
brianb386 95 Posted March 1 If Wade Philips was an option I would go with him. Since he is not, I go with Fewell. 11 4
Peter 443 Posted March 1 Wade is missing and should be on the list. 12 4
GunnerBill 8,544 Posted March 1 I voted Chan just because he was actually a nice guy and he did run decent offenses. If Marrone was on the list I'd have voted for him. He was an ass but I do think he can coach.
Golden Goat 1,494 Posted March 1 Does interim head coach count? If so, Anthony Lynn.

Patrick_Duffy 1,090 Posted March 1 Wade Phillips would be mychoice. Not sure why he isn't there, but would definitely be my #1 choice. 6

formerlyofCtown 1,400 Posted March 1 (edited) Wade Phillips wasnt an option so I went with Gregg Williams I would also consider Chan Gailey. I think the only one that had a fair shake without a meddlesome owner was Rex. Edited March 1 by formerlyofCtown

He’s out shopping for a headset. All successful coaches need to wear them. 😁

The poll would be much easier if their names were included p 39 minutes ago, Nanker said: What? No love for Anthony Lynn? No he shouldn’t because he would win hands down

I've always had just this gut instinct that McD is going to be here a long time and prove to be a phenomenal, natural HC. We lucked out getting him , he's taking this team places. Helluva coach Edited March 1 by JerseyBills
