THEY DON’T CALL HER LIEAWATHA FOR NOTHING:

Elizabeth Warren Falsely Suggests She Couldn’t Go to College Because She Couldn’t Afford to Apply.

“What she fails to mention is that she did go to college… She went to George Washington University… on a debate scholarship. Why was this little factoid left out of her tweet or her video?”

Because she’s a lying liar who lies.

What is it about lefties — see, e.g, Hillary, Gary Hartpence, Warren Wilhelm Jr./Bill DeBlasio, etc. — that they feel have to make up a bio?

Is it just that they know, deep down, that they’re horrible people and want to substitute a better version of themselves?

Fake religion from Pete Buttigieg

by Paul Mirengoff

Original Article

Pete Buttigieg has tried to carve out a niche among Democratic presidential hopefuls as the candidate who is comfortable talking about religion.

Unfortunately, he’s only comfortable trying to use religion as a means of beating conservatives, especially religious ones, over the head.

Money for Lizzy starting to dry up?

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) emailed her supporters this morning, urging them to donate more as the fourth fundraising quarter — and the year — comes to a close.

"So far this quarter, we’ve raised a little over $17 million," the email says. "That’s a good chunk behind where we were at this time last quarter."

This is true; Warren's campaign raised $24.6 million in the third quarter, second to only Sen. Bernie Sanders' (I-Vt.) campaign, which brought in over $25 million.

Mayor Pete Wants to Decriminalize

I’ll read the article after I post this, but that was my snarky argument about a year ago — probably in some pot legalization thread.

Declare that we lost the “war on drugs”, then reallocate all those resources to making an import chain to gov’t run distribution centers.  Hell, do it Chinese style and buy the land in the producing countries to cut out the cartels.   Then tax the frick out of the stuff and prosecute anyone who tries to sell it cheap on the inevitable black-market. Call the program Godfather 4.

The Genealogy of Free
Stuff: The Trump Card

Original Article

On Friday the Wall Street Journal ran an extra-long and remarkable editorial about the agenda of Elizabeth Warren (“Elizabeth Warren Has a Plan, Oh My“), which is so far beyond extravagant that “socialism” seems an inadequate adjective. She makes Bernie Sanders look cautious by comparison. As the Journal put it in the lede: “[A]s we discovered after a tour of her 60-some policy papers, Ms. Warren is proposing a transformation of American government, business and life that exceeds what the socialist dreamers of a century ago imagined.” Warren is not simply offering lots and lots of free stuff (Medicare for All, free college, higher Social Security benefits,

From the article:

"What I’ve seen is that while there continue to be all kinds of harms associated with drug possession and use, it’s also the case that we have created—in an effort to deal with what amounts to a public health problem—we have created an even bigger problem. A justice problem and its form of a health problem."

Yes..it's a 'we' problem.  Of course it is, Mayor Pete.  The hundreds of millions of Americans who somehow, as if by magic, avoided the pitfalls of buying illicit drugs on a street corner from a guy named Scubby 2Rox are the real problem.  In fact, let's sit in judgement of the non-meth heads and expunge the criminal records of the drug crazed hordes.  Why on earth would we want the non-meth-heads to know someone may have been incarcerated for a drug crime?  What is there to be afraid of?

I say we decriminalize crime entirely.

Maybe he is trying to get an endorsement from Hunter Biden?

A good troll move by Trump would be to offer him the Secretary of Energy job.

Warren’s ‘fantasy’ wealth tax: Here’s all the programs 2020 Dem claims to cover with funding trick

By Tyler Olson | Fox News

As the progressive wing of the Democratic Party pushes an agenda that asks millionaires and billionaires to pay higher taxes to fund ambitious social programs, 2020 hopeful Elizabeth Warren has made an unprecedented tax proposal on accumulated wealth a centerpiece of her campaign.

And nearly a year into her presidential bid, that wealth tax has become a central funding mechanism for a host of major policy proposals — despite lingering doubts about its constitutionality and whether it can generate the cash flow she promises. Warren has connected the wealth tax to no fewer than eight separate initiatives:

  • Student debt cancellation
  • Universal childcare
  • Universal pre-k
  • $800 billion in new federal funding for public schools
  • Tuition-free college
  • $50 billion for Historically Black Colleges and Universities
  • $1 trillion for "Medicare-for-all"
  • Tackling the opioid crisis

Elizabeth Warren is nothing more than an old, frustrated school teacher complaining in the staff lounge on her lunch hour. The majority of her proposals are nothing more than a rewording of the typical teacher’s union cries for expanding the ‘state’ run education machine by extending government funding on either end of our already severely underperforming K12 system. And where does the money come from? Why get it from the private sector of course!

I gotta ask...where does this "Karen" meme come from?

I know what it is.  But I need to know where it started, because my sister's name is Karen, so when I tell her "Don't be a Karen," I know where it started.

Origin

While it's unclear where exactly "Karen" began seeing use as a pejorative character, it perhaps started with the Oh My God, Karen, You Can’t Just Ask Someone Why They're White meme from Mean Girls. Others believe that the popularity of the name may come from the character Karen from the 1989 gangster film Goodfellas (clip below).

For goodfellas some people thought he said “caring” while she went on and on in that scene

so for awhile people at work and around would say “caring” when one complained, but they really didn’t care
