Fact: TT has led us to Jacksonville tomorrow

Foreigner

Recommended Posts

This thread is not about tomorrow, not about draft day next April, it is about what the title says.

If anyone thinks we would be in Jacksonville if our #2 QB Nathan Peterman would have led us

there, feel free to comment, but I am expecting 0 replies to this.

The first line should have been this thread is not about next year-sorry about that.

I'm trying to think of how many QB's could've thrown for 2,799 and 14 TD's this season and their are too many to post. If anything this team made up for poor QB play with opportunistic defensive turnovers, strong running game and good ST.

This has to be KILLING you on the inside!! You must have been so pissed when the Bills made the playoffs.

Fact:TT led us to Jacksonville.  Agreed.

Could someone else have, maybe, maybe not.  But, TT did lead us here.

Sure, I will play the game and agree.

LOL...I'd say Tyrod prevented us from being 11-5 more than he got us here.

The Cincinnati game and Carolina game were there for the taking if he literally did anything on offense the entire game.

You are right, defense wins championships. So I guess we should ignore our 29th ranked run

defense that gave up 22 rushing TDs and about 125 yards a game on the ground.

I think TT can throw for more yards in this game than the run defense gives up, so we should

have a chance.

Yes, his 140 ypg passing paved the way!

We didn't get there because of him, we got there in SPITE of him! Get off the rookies, ass, by the way, you have no idea what he is capable of!

If you think TT is gonna get you anywhere, you know nothing of what you are watching.

Big Ben got bent over by this defense.

Odds are stacked vs Tyrod.

Agree with this.

To the OP you are correct, he did earn a playoff berth while simultaneously manning a terrible (29th) offense that has us 9 point dogs in the wildcard playoff game.

Time to step his game up if he doesn’t feel like packing boxes and perusing Zillow.

Pointless having conversations with fanboys.  I'll look for people who know football.  At least when we disagree we wil both have valid points.

For the most part in the games we won the defense WAS responsible via numerous takeaways...if anything the reason we were sweating out victories instead of cruising to them was because the offense went dead in the second half too many times.

Why are you pitting the two against each other? Peterman made two critical throws in the snow that TT wouldn't have even considered.

And, ponder this: Had the Dolphins cashed in on the final drive and won last week, the four points TT left on the field missing a wide open O'Leary would have been the difference.

I don't see how some of you morons think he is a good quarterback. He misses way too many plays. And, I know, I know, he doesn't turn it over. I wouldn't turn it over, either, if I only threw it if a guys was open by 20 yards.

I hope he does make it, he sounds like a good guy, but stop dreaming pal.

How can you even try to compare the two considering Peterman is in his first year and Tyrod is on 7. Tyrod had 4 years of development on the bench, I wonder how Tyrod would have done under the same conditions in LA on his first start in year one against their D. I would imagine zero TDs and maybe 20 or 30 negative yards.

SMH to even try to put down our first year rookie in such a way. You better hope Tyrod can finish the game or Peterman could end up the savior of the day that throws this thread in your face.

TT was good enough to get this team there, but not the one who led us there.I don't think any one player led us here....

he can win some of us over by putting together the best 4 games streak of his life.

I appreciate that TT has been the best QB the Bills have had in a long time.. but We must find someone who can pass more consistently to take this team to the level we all want.. Multiple SB victories

So, how are we going to find him. We either get the 22nd or 23rd pick in the first round and right

now we need to fix the OL, DL, LBs, and WRs before QB. Maybe if management didn't dump

Tyrods 3 WRs named Watkins, Woods and Goodwin,he would have done better. Sure he missed

throws, what QB doesn't, the throw to O'Leary was magnified because our star RB gained 10 yards

on 11 carries, because of the OL Any QB can do better, when he has to run for his life.

As for trades, look for someone from the NFC. Just the the JG trade went to the 49ers, no AFC

team is going to trade a good QB into the AFC.

please...the glut of wins came from a slew of turnovers from the defense early on...

the team won with grit as a team, not because of anything tt did,

'fact' lol ...sounds like a cnn news story title

Might I add, When is the last time the AFC looked this weak?

A flukey season that ended in a really gratifying “ back door” entry.

I want them to win tomorrow but don’t expect them to because without Shady at full strength TT will have to be a QB.

Let’s see how that goes and then we can revisit this homage to “ Tyrod the Magnificent “

We are all Bills fans and want the best from everyone.    No one is immune to criticism for playing mediocre at times.

We see ia all the time and Taylor should not get a pass.

Maybe with a better OL and WRs it would be different.

This thread was supposed to stop all the Peterman cheerleaders , but it has turned out to be

a typical TT hate thread, so be it, and have a nice evening.

No it wouldn't. He just isnt a very good QB no matter how badly you want him to be. Spend time studying football and watching it more because you look clueless with these arguments.

I give you an A for effort. You are a persistent person. As I have said earlier this year... I like Tyrod as a person BUT I cant stand the mediocrity he represents. He most likely will NOT be back here next year.

And an F for everything else.   Worst poster on this site.

No he can't.  But he can sure stand in there, extend plays and throw 5 TDs and for 500+ yards tho...you know...like 3 games worth of stats for TT in one game...

Well, the OP is right about one thing.  If Nathan Peterman had been Buffalo's starter at QB, Buffalo most likely would not have won enough games to get in the playoffs.  As far as the teams decisions regarding QB and Tyrod specifically moving forward, that proves exactly nothing.  I have said for a while now that I think Tyrod is good enough to make the playoffs with a good supporting cast around him.  I don't think he's good enough to lead a team on a deep playoff run, and I don't think he particularly makes the players around him better.  It's possible Buffalo will beat Jacksonville tomorrow, but if they do that and go on to beat New England the following week, I'll be happy to eat a generous portion of crow.

for three long years i had to endure the ej lovers threads on bbmb ad nauseum until reality finally......became reality.

then on here where i'm supposed to be a low life bbmb refugee, i see the taylor lovers spewing greatness over a qb who, if not for an andy dalton miracle would be nothing more than an upcoming roster bonus discussion. i went to bat for tt early on when the season started and before, but saw that i was wrong and he is what he is and it ain't good.....or any where near it. reality is knocking on the door.

but , we are a day away from playing the first playoff game since 99 and people are starting and adding to pages of pukeworthy taylor love/nate hate discussions is unbelievable.
