these are the posts that don't make sense. why are people so eager to get rid of a playoff qb without a confirmed better option? inform me, please. TT is the first qb to get this team to the playoffs in nearly two decades, and people want to run him out of town. amazing.

These are trolls....after a  historic day like this they still show their true colors....QB who cares.....we are in post season!!!!!!  This is what every REAL bills fans should be celebrating now....

On a a serious note. If anyone is upset about what transpired today they need to leave this place FOREVER.

TT 9-6 as a starter......that is playoff caliber......and, if McD doesn't have a brain cramp...might have been 10-6

I thnik this is right

He is gone before draft

Tyrod isn't great. He misses too many easy passes he needs to hit to offset his other deficiencies.

BUT...

I also think better QBs than him would be way worse than him on this team. Good QBs would get killed on this team.

The only reasonable thing to do is keep him, do all we can to get a top draft pick QB, get rid of Dennison, let Tyrod and our #1 pick have a legitimate tryout in camp, and if rookie is anywhere near a tie, he gets the start. Then we have the best backup in the league.

Sure Taylor can stay. Redo your contract again TT for a 9M cap hit.

You dont Buh Bye

No way.       Teams that much better with an able qb

Thank you Andy Dalton for the miracle.

Could do much worse than Taylor. He lead us to the playoffs on a team that was gutted. No Woods, no Watkins, Glenn down, Dareus gone, still we made the playoffs. He is on the books for 1 more year, draft a QB high, start Taylor, make the playoffs again on a reloaded roster while the rookie warms the bench. If Tyrod delivers again, extend him, if not let him walk, clean break.

Answer this honestly leave out any angst you have for people not in love with TT.

how many times did you yell throw the damn ball?

What did you think when TT fumbled the ball?

At first I was really supportive. Wanted him to take it to the next level and really believed he could.

This year I became skeptical of him. I doubted him. I never trashed him. Wasn't ever critical without acknowledging that he could flash greatness. I just never thought it would be enough.

I wasn't always happy with him. I don't always think I'll be happy with him in the future if he sticks around but he was the quarter back to make it rain on the drought and for that I thank him. He is a Playoff QB. Now I want the bar set higher for him. You lead a team to playoffs but its time to take the next step and win the Superbowl.

1. The Bills will draft a quarterback with a first round pick - though whether they look to move up is a complete mystery.

2. The Bills won't be satisfied going into 2018 with just Peterman and their first-rounder; they'll want a veteran too

3. Taylor only costs the Bills 9mil of cap in 2018, and any veteran signing would offset much of that.

4. Nonetheless, Taylor is gone. McBeane has shown they don't want him & that overrides all other considerations.

5. Other teams know this, so they'll wait for TT to be cut.

is this a form of fact or a form of your opinion? you'll have to excuse me for asking as I don't know you from adam so you could be or have some inside source to back this up?

I wont say he's gone anymore than he stays, I don't know. I do know that he was/is part of the team that just made the post season, which I am elated about and will give him and the team credit for achieving that goal, even if they had to have help, they did their job today.

no need to think about where he'll be, just looking forward to sunday and a chance to advance?

Andy Dalton didn't get us 9 wins. Tyrod Taylor did. As much as it pains you, he is a playoff QB despite playing in a division with the greatest dynasty of all time.

Yes, he is.

We will look to upgrade on him, which is fine and what we should do.

But Taylor might be around another year as we make a (possibly even more...?) legitimate run at a ring :flirt:

All the posters who said we'd never make the playoffs with Tyrod as our QB (you know who you are... there are a good handful of you 0:)) should just come here and eat crow! After all, we're all super stoked we're in the playoffs!

I never said we wouldn't make the playoffs with the guy. I've just maintained that he was in the 30-35 range as far as NFL QBs go.

Backup QBs have made the playoffs in the past. But regardless, TT gets full marks from me for being the QB of the Bills team that finally broke through.
