LA just sucks as a sports town.  It’s a bandwagon scene.  There are too many o ther distractions there.

It doesn't suck as a sports town. Dodgers, Lakers, UCLA basketball, USC/UCLA football are all well attended.

It sucks as an NFL town. For some reason they just don't show up.

Hmm, he doesn't look all that bright...

He looks like a pleasant, decent fella.  As for brights, we'll see, but his Wonderlic score was fairly good and he seems able to read a defense and see the field, which will be a change for us.

looks can be deceiving.

Nate Peterman, Pittsburgh (former Tennessee) 32

Interestingly, former Tennessee quarterback Nate Peterman, who will be drafted as a Pittsburgh product after transferring there in 2015, was surprisingly higher than any of the SEC quarterbacks.

Here are the Wonderlic scores for 12 NFL Draft QBs

Weve already gone the scholar route... same end result.

I just want a good good football player. Is that too much to ask for??

Well this one comes from a school that's actually known for producing a quality football player, or two, so hopefully it's a perfect mix of "brains and brawn"... I doubt it though, but eventually this team has to hit on one, don't they?

Flying to the west cost and the time zone change won't help. And that's real.

You think coaches would learn to hold practice during the week at the time of the game in time zone they are going to.
