TC in St. Louis Posted September 11, 2017 Share Posted September 11, 2017 Don't trash the Jets. They are grown men trying to win football games. Their DL played great most of the game, stuffing a lot of runs and getting pressure on the quarterback. But when there was an opening, our RB's picked up a bunch of yards. Their QB played a nice game of ball control. I think when we put a lot or pressure on him it worked. We didn't do that often enough. The Jets, as a team, are not tanking the season. They'll be able to tank just fine. They could tank with the 85 Bears defense considering the QB's they have on their roster. The same could be said for the Colts, if Luck doesn't return. I usually check out where the Bills are, stat wise, on Sunday evening or Monday morning. I didn't see the Jets make a bad play on offense until the 4th Q. The Bills D just took too many things away from them. Or what I was more acuustomed to, Sammy drops to the ground as that first would be tackler approaches and surrenders himself for a minimal gain and no YAC.
