Of course, I had heard their name, but I never could associate any specific type of music with them. I'll give it a try. I arrived at Family from the other side. In Germany in the mid-70s, Chapman and Whitney's follow-up band, the Streetwalkers, were quite popular. Of course, they were much more R&B/blues-oriented (which fitted Chappo's voice quite well).

Still they push the underage vibe quite a bit, don't you think? In the video Gimmie Chocolate, the lead singer was 16, and her 2 sidekicks were 14. All 3 were removed from the groups they were in because they were "too old". The video is from 2014, so I don't think the sidekicks have hit 20 yet. The group came under some criticism when they started doing live shows for that first album. The music was piped in, and the "muscians" faked it. Metalheads are not like poptarts. Air guitar won't cut it.
Ralonzo
This should not be possible for someone of the XY persuasion The sheer vocal talent is like watching some undiscovered perform at a level like Freddy Mercury and Queen once did versus the world, before Queen was a thing... but doing it in a world that already knows them. Since 2014 it's been all live music in concerts.

DrW
I had always preferred the Hüsker Dü songs by Grant Hart over those by Bob Mould. Here is Grant Hart's follow-up project, Nova Mob. The video is pretty funny.

RaoulDuke79
The first time I heard this song was The Salton Sea movie. I was never a huge techno guy, but there was a time where I spent some hours in rave clubs and checked out the scene. This song gives me good vibes and the Chemical a bothers are masters of their craft. Edited November 16, 2019 by RaoulDuke79

Oasis were the band I idolised as a teenager. Bought all the albums and singles. Got to see them live in around 2005 at City of Manchester Stadium. I’m not a big fan of the Gallagher’s solo stuff.
