No reason EJ shouldn't have been in there at the end. Nothing to lose. If EJ throws a pick, so what? If EJ makes the play QB controversy which we don't want with two backup QBs. The refs held the ball for 15 seconds after the fumble, and then didn't call Sammy out of bounds to stop the clock with 0:02. We had time to run Big Ben, but no, not the Bills in Foxboro. Then NE gets great field position and scores the TD by the skin of their teeth with 13 seconds left. That's a 10 point swing in their favor. I think it would have been enough to get us a win. The bills chances on a hail mary were nil given the foolish decision to stick with a clearly injured taylor, but you never know. He clearly should have been ruled out. My god.
