  1. What a quality thread... Really, hats off on this one.
  2. Jents brills grame terday. Whoyagot? Well I godda gibit to da jemps today, dem brills cant even scor a gol.
  3. Warning post. Abusive language. No need for personal attacks.
  4. We are often left wondering what could have been with the bills...
  5. Its going to be interesting to see the mid to long term effects. Empty stadiums are not sustainable for the mega-rich to stay mega-rich and they will do something about it. Before pegula bought the team, I felt like we had to spend money keep the team in buffalo. If there were no fans in buffalo, a new owner would have find a new (money spending market) home for this team. But we proved that we can financially support an NFL team year after year with ticket and jersey sales. The product on the field had no consequence to the owner as they seem to make their money regardless. Now that the threat of the team moving has been removed, if the revenue dries up from ticket sales, jersey sales, etc, this will now effect the owner and the answer of moving the team is far far less likely that the period post wilson/pre pegula. This "obligation" is no longer there. The obligation should be on the owners to put a product on the field worth supporting. I hope the stadium is empty the next two games. Its what this team deserves, and hopefully it will send a message. I am a younger bills fan, but I do have the money to buy tickets to one or two games a year... but I dont... and won't until I see a team that I am confident will, ya know, beat the jags... Its much cheaper to get upset at home.
  6. He played well enough for us to win when we have lost. But in games he hasnt played well enough to win, we haven't won. And thats why he isnt good... Thats deep bruh...
  7. Watching the giants panthers game, I see two teams playing with passion. I havent seen that intensity from the bills all yr, unless its accompanied by a flag fest.
  8. I would travel to the future when the bills win it all. Tired of the what ifs. I would tell the time machine operator to bring me to the next playoff game the bills are in.
  9. You say you are done but you keep making threads. Sounds like a true bills fan! I still like the rex hire. I will judge him after two full seasons with the bills.
  10. They blew it up last year. And two years before that. And two years before that. Annnnd two years before that... MAYBE it's worth sticking with one program for more than a season.
  11. My only issue is with Hughes because he also does the opposite. At a time when you can't have a penalty he gets a personal...
  12. A regular season win... in week 5... against the lions... But this shows that at least he gets it. When you win, you can talk, when you lose, you look dumb.
  13. It should be a penalty if a ball carrier is tackled when he is trying to advance the ball and score a touchdown. A play is only whistled dead when a ball carrier goes out of bounds. Fumbles out of bounds continue to be a live ball until recovered. Incomplete passes that do not contact a receiver and land in bounds are now live balls. Intentional grounding inside the tackle box is still a penalty, but no more spiking it outside the tacklebox to avoid a sack or bc of good coverage, if you want to throw it away, you have to sky it. If you throw a deep ball - make sure the intended receiver can get a hand on it otherwise its like a punt. This would cause mayhem. And I would love it.
  14. Haha I love it. Both coaches are subpar. I think Rex did something special in 09 and 10 with the Jets, getting to back to back AFC CC Games. It seems like he has regressed as a coach, or just doesnt have the coaching support or the horses on the roster to do the same thing as 09-10... he got to the AFCC with Sanchez - let that sink in... Also, Marrone was still green when he left, but he didn't show much. I am surprised about the reports coming out that he is a hot candidate for a HC job... Marrone leaving was his own choice. Could the organization have done something to make him stay? Maybe. With a decent roster, an improved year over year record, it seems like a coach just up and left a team that was on the rise. Why would he leave? I find it troubling to think that he would quit because Orton left... he left over Orton? ORTON? A middling QB on his way out? Something was up with Marrone and he left because he wanted to. Its not like he was fired so we could bring in Rex. I would have preferred to see DM and Schwartz stay for continuity, and to see what they could have done with TT at the helm (but that was a Rex move i think), but thats not how it worked out. I am ok with Rex at the moment. I am disappointed in the performance of the team, but look at the Ravens. They were crap even with Flacco and Forsett, no one is calling for Harbaughs job. Give Rex another year. We have waiting this long, whats another year, but at this point last year (DS) and the year before that (MP) Defensive coaching was superior to what we are seeing today. I think the chemistry on the D side of the ball is missing this year and I am not sure why as the personnel is mostly the same. Hughes is not a leader, Mario is not a leader. KW - idk if hes a leader or not, but overall it seems like for all the talent, there is no anchor. Maybe I'm wrong. I am surprised we havent heard about locker room turmoil surrounding Hughes giving up personal fouls - a leader would be in his face calling out his childish BS. In my observations... I see very few signs of player or coach growth in the league over the last 5-10 years. It seems like they either have it right away and are kept, or dont have it and are discarded. Its not often you see organizations stand behind players or coaches who struggle - there is just no leeway for failure, which is why I think improvement is not something seen very often - players are often benched or cut before they have a chance to work it out for themselves. I am open to examples of the contrary. Go bills.
  15. Is it worth benching this guy at the next personal foul? EVERY WEEK he proves to us he has no control over his emotions and Rex shows us he doesn't know how to control or discipline his players.
  16. I used to think the refs were motivated to screw one team over another which leads to the horrible calls and non-calls. But it changes so often, I am starting to think they just have no clue out there. Running around wetting themselves whenever they need to make an important judgement call. Its embarrasing for them and the NFL. Honest question: I keep seeing that Dean Blandino is the VP of Officiating. Is there a president of officiating, or is he the highest on the totem pole before goodell?
  17. What is the difference between rex and marrone that has caused the extreme lack of discipline? Nothing. Because it was schwartz who ran the D. Stop giving marrone credit for anything. Edit: its late and this comment only makes sense when I typed it. I understand what I mean.
  18. Yeah... YEAH ! We can do this. Sure we gotta lotta losses. But we gotta get in there and stickem! Fugem chris poppem!
  19. Hes good but I am tired of jerry hughes as well. Let him take personal fouls somewhere else.
  20. At this point, winning out doesnt even guarantee a berth
