He's saying that it is insulting to a black person to be described as "articulate", when you rarely hear it about white people, as though it is thought to be common for white people to be articulate, but if a black person is, it is worth note, as so few of them are. I realize with all that's going on in the world, this is not a big deal and I am sure that black people have 1,000 things to worry about that are more pressing than occasionally being called "articulate" when they are in fact articulate. But my question for you is that if you understand what BTMV said (which he stated very articulately himself by the way), what is it exactly that he is "wrong" about? I guess what I'm saying is that while this is not a topic that should really draw the ire of anyone and I would think someone would be more than a little sensitive for getting overly offended by someone else referring to Bruce Smith as "articulate," surely you wouldn't argue that a higher percentage of black sports analysts who are in fact articulate don't get dignified as "articulate" than white ones? I mean, regardless of how offensive or not offensive it might be to anyone, it's definitely a thing, right?
