I like that schedule better than this years. Great thing is, we should be better next year, than this year. Beane used his wizard powers to see into 2025 and put his plan into motion starting this year. 😁

Let me be the first to say it: “Super Bowl!! Beane is a wizard!!”

Are we really going to call big ballin Beane a Wizard, but create a backup plan to blame josh allen for coaching hires and draft picks that don't work out?
-
Relax people the wizard Beane surely has a speed potion all mixed and ready for Keon

I agree Diggs and Davis fell off and Shakir rose, and Kincaid looks like he will be excellent. But to me, we still want two good WRs. It's an important position. Having Diggs not be good was extremely costly - seems like they had already factored and game planned for Davis' dropoff. I want a good rookie WR - hoping for McConkey/Franklin/coleman/AD group. But I also want a good vet WR. I'm hoping the moves Beane made can bring home both - that the man I know as a wizard.

Beane knows this trend in WR pay is going to reverse by then because he is a wizard.

Van Demark has played well at LT in the pre-season, so maybe there's some hope there, but I don't think he's shown well in limited time at RT, actually. Collins is pretty washed and a backup at best. Using Brown in a trade up means you are losing two starters from the best Oline the Bills have had in years, and it was only pretty good. In short, I think that is a pretty awful move to use Brown as a chip to move up. Beane put himself in this position by trading Diggs, but before that, by not investing sufficiently at WR. I think it will be hard to get any of the top 3, and expensive to get the fourth. The WR room has to be addressed, though, so I guess we'll see how much of a wizard our GM really is.

Draft, Here’s What’s Going to Happen
strive_for_five_guy replied to Thrivefourfive's topic in The Stadium Wall
Here’s what will happen then. This board goes into full panic mode and insists all Friday that Beane must be planning to trade up in the 2nd to get our guy at WR. We land someone decent and board instantly is put at ease, calling Beane a wizard. -
Thanks for the effort with the write-ups.........but you played yourself here. Beane was talking up Dane Jackson like he was a CB1 before he drafted Elam. It's what he does. Set the bar of expectations low. -"Hmmmm.........maybe WR isn't REALLY a need? Beane's got this!" -"Oh, we got a WR in round 1! I know it wasn't a need but I'm glad Beane got us one. Dude is a wizard!" Don't worry, you'll forget Beane even said it later.

I was trying to make it easy. No one has been able to respond so far with listing any example of wizard level players on the roster. I am willing to give Beane a pass. Just object to the frequent uses of phrases like wizard or big ballin Beane. I will move from the extremes and agree he has done a middling job. I hope people understand middle to be in the middle and the exact opposite of extremes.

If you take an objective view of the current Bills roster, other than Allen, are there any players on the current roster that justify refering to Beane as a wizard. Or is it more accurate to say the current roster, other than Allen, is kind of meh.

Beanes a wizard!!!!

Beane is a wizard!

Ah... but he could be. Dr. Strange is a wizard. Dr. Beane master of the NFL mystic arts.
-
Beane got us into this mess with those ridiculous contracts, he needs to get us out of it now. Which I think he is doing. But a wizard? I don’t think so. Still glad to have him though.

Big Baller Beane is a Wizard, not a Doctor

so harsh today 😉 just find a way Beanes. just find a way Wizard.

Diggs traded to Texans for picks
DabillsDaBillsDaBills replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
Trading Diggs for such a small return makes that extension from last season look even worse in hindsight. But sure, Beane's a wizard -
Beane Discusses Draft Strategy w/ Pat McAfee
<bills4life> replied to Donuts and Doritos's topic in The Stadium Wall
And then we will hear the proverbial “beane is a wizard” “in beane we trust” and “big baller beane”. -
Contract details are in. Vet minimum with ZERO guarantees. Beane the wizard at it again. If anyone dislikes this deal, given the numbers, you don't know ball.

Jeremiah has us taking a DT at 28 in his latest mock
Chicken Boo replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't care what they've drafted in the past. I suggest "Wizard" Beane get to work and start filling these holes now. You have an elite QB, that needs the best talent possible around him to succeed. Anything less is selling this franchise short. A DT at #28 is not putting this team in the Super Bowl next year. -
Beane should do this and then renig on the trade. Then even I'd call him a "wizard."

Beane is iike a double wizard. He was declared a wizard for signing Harty, and is declared a wizard for releasing Harty the following year. Double wizards are tough to find.
