  1. There’s not one thing Kelly did better than Allen. In fact, Kelly was bad in the playoffs. Frank Reich was 2-0 in that span. Don’t confuse winning with a good QB for winning because of a good QB. The early 90’s Bills were the 2025 Eagles. The difference is Jalen Hurts is a better playoff performer than Kelly. There’s not a single thing that Jim Kelly was better at than Josh Allen. I used the Jalen Hurts argument earlier in the offseason. Jim Kelly was the Jalen Hurts of his day. He was a top 5ish QB that won a lot. Josh Allen is the MVP of the league. It’s not comparable. EDIT: I’m not sure what anyone is disagreeing with? What is there to disagree with? We can Google their statistics in the playoffs. I’m not sure that a reasonable argument can be made, skill wise as to anything Kelly did better than Allen. Toughness was Kelly’s best quality. Allen has that in spades as well. I’m not sure why the topic of Allen being better than Kelly bothers Bills fans? Honestly, it’s not very close.
  2. Josh Allen hasn’t played that many though. Lamar is in if he retired tomorrow. I don’t think Josh is.
  3. https://people.com/josh-allen-felt-like-a-hollywood-actor-while-filming-new-ad-exclusive-11757535
  4. I’m sure his defensive teammates are gonna love these quotes… after all, it’s not like Allen was doing the “hmm”pose after every score after the “hmm” t-shirt debacle when they found out they were underdogs at Buffalo a week after dropping 70 on Denver. Allen isn’t paying attention at all.
  5. If the playoff games are truly tilted like everybody suspects, Josh Allen might be the greatest NFL player of all time.
  6. Awards are slightly subjective tho Josh Allen has had more touchdowns than the MVP probably three out of the five years.. it's not like he was pedestrian with 20 touchdowns He has been playing at an MVP level five straight years.. whether it ended up in one all pro or 3 He could have three MVPs and three all pros But the voters love Lamar Jackson who went to a better team and that is a fact Lamar Jackson inherited a better team right off the bat than Josh Allen, and still gets all the love like he turned around a franchise like Josh Allen He's a tremendous player, I would not take Lamar Jackson over Jack Allen if I had no bias
  7. Josh Allen has more passing touchdowns.. more Rushing touchdowns , more passing yards, more playoff wins, and better playoff stats then Lamar Jackson and he also has an MVP I don't care if opinion voters voted him MVP more than Josh because Josh could be a three-time MVP right now Josh Allen scores more points than Lamar Jackson and is a better postseason quarterback.. if you think Lamar is in Josh Allen is in Josh also went to a much worse franchise than the Baltimore Ravens and turned them around.. Lamar Jackson went to one of the most steadfast franchises of the last 25 years Yeah Josh Allen is ahead of Lamar Jackson regardless of AP awards
  8. Without Josh Allen 7-10. Without anyone else, who cares, not much difference
  9. Stevie as a slot WR in an offensive with Josh Allen would have been something special. Ran great routes in history!
  10. Without Allen they are a 3 win team One out of the other 52 doesn't move the needle
  11. My only quibble with alot of the above is that they play more games now that in the past, so "first 7 seasons" stats are skewed in favor of current players. I believe Allen is better than Kelly, but Kelly played fewer games per season (no fault of his own) so he is handicapped vs. Allen.
  12. Similar to what Allen does for the Bills, Daniels can do for the Commanders. He is not as good as Josh, but you can tell he is going to be a special player.
  13. Cam was also more mechanical over the top. Allen is much more rotational. Farve, Rodgers, Marino and Elway kept their arms through out. Cam style added with the shoulder surgeries diminished the path and power he could consistently generate. Allen taken better of himself feb-Aug and limiting his physical runs is how he extends his career. Another reason why paying Cook isnt a bad idea. The contract brings expectations and game plan involvement. More Cook runs less Allen power.
  14. Cam wishes he was ever as good as Josh Allen. I'm not a Cam Newton fan. Everything about him is contrived.
  15. He’s not a top 10 coach. He’s the head coach of a top 10 team. Better yet he’s the head coach of Josh Allen
  16. I'd have fired him if they missed the playoffs in 2023 and I said as much after the Denver loss. Missing the playoffs with Josh Allen is fireable.
  17. That one pass is one of my favorite Bills memories - and in a preseason game! But so full of promise and, finally, hope -- !! The NY Times wrote up that single throw extensively the next day. Here is what they said: The New Era Field crowd had given Allen a standing ovation when he was announced as Buffalo’s new quarterback to begin the second half. Then he showed off the arm that made him the seventh overall draft choice and has captured so many imaginations. Redmond didn’t know exactly what would happen on Allen’s debut play, but it called for max protection. “Usually that means we’re taking a shot,” Redmond said. Allen faked a handoff to running back Marcus Murphy, then dropped back even farther. “The play call had some deep routes,” Murphy said, “and I think it was all up to him.” As Redmond helped hold the Panthers at bay, his mental clock told him the ball should’ve been thrown already. “But it wasn’t,” he said. Redmond couldn’t help but wonder if they’d be scraping Allen off the artificial turf. Panthers DB Gaulden was in the middle of the field and read Allen’s deep setup. Gaulden had two receivers to survey yet didn’t wonder for long who Allen’s target would be. Allen quickly patted the ball twice while locking on receiver Robert Foster, sprinting up the left sideline. “He’s staring one receiver down the whole time,” Gaulden said. “That’s what you expect from a rookie quarterback. He just let it loose.” Rookie or not, Allen’s release could be compared to few others in recent NFL memory. “We heard the roar,” said Redmond, “when the ball went up.” Allen’s majestic spiral whistled 60 yards through the humid, night air. This was why the Bills traded up to draft him. This was why fans stood and applauded when Allen simply entered the game. Panthers cornerback Kevon Seymour wasn’t on the field, but the former Bill watched in awe from the sideline. “When he got in there and showed that deep ball,” Seymour said, “I was, like, whooof!”
  18. His numbers will be better than your projection, not in small part due to the fact that he has Josh Allen.
  19. My guess is Allen doesn’t even crack the Top 5. Players don’t think he’s as good as others for some reason, and then he embarrasses them weekly.
  20. Seems like Mahomes got robbed a little, compared to Allen. From a cursory/high level skim. (Not that I agree with that conclusion.)
  21. 500? Hell naw. I’d do it for 50k though. I have faith that Allen will win it in a different year.
  22. I agree. I suspect in 5 years Allen tops my list. At least I hope so!
  23. Difference between Buffalo and Kansas City is so small in these games. Chris Jones pushed Dawkins back into Allen in the ‘23 Divisional and we don’t get the go-ahead TD.. instead miss a game-tying FG. Does Kelce catch that miracle pass Allen got off to Kincaid at the end of the AFC CG? Probably. We haven’t had a Jones or Kelce to ride with Allen. Not even Diggs was that in the Playoffs sadly. Even with the injury disparity we’ve had vs them when it matters, we’ve still had our chances. It’s just been evident that Allen has no game changers out there with him on either side of the ball. Mahomes has always had 2-3.. maybe that’s just Jones now, but I believe Kelce makes the play Kincaid didn’t. (And I know injuries and all that .. injuries can’t be the excuse every year) We need some of these high end investments to at least attempt to be game changers at some point.
  24. I never said Josh Allen would not have been pretty good.. I said Josh Allen would not be the Josh Allen we know There's been plenty of physically gifted quarterbacks who don't pan out.. in fact Jay Cutler was a 6'3 230 lb monster with a cannon who was trucking linebackers in the SEC I think Josh is more likely that in Chicago.. good not transcendent A transcendent player always needs somebody to tango with.. there's never been a surefire Hall of Fame greatest ever quarterback who didn't have a tremendous coach lol they kind of go hand in hand
  25. They did. https://apnews.com/sports/how-they-voted-josh-allen-wins-ap-nfl-mvp-award-00000194de7cdd80a79dde7c10b10000
