Josh thinks he can come off the bench in the NBA
Cray51 replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Watching Luka pass is the thing that carries him closest to Allen. Allen has the coordination with a ball in his hands to be precise. allen was a plus high school basketball player, who then went through a growth spurt and is now a 6’5 beast of a precision athlete. I think he could step onto a low end D1 team and probably be able to not look terrible. Maybe after a year or two of training he could be on the bench of a top D1 program. It would be a whole different level for NBA however. -

Marquez Valdes-Scantling meeting with the Bills (UPDATE: Signed)

I think so too. Something must've happened. And, in agreeing with WGR's point, the staff would've asked Allen about letting him go. Allen would've had a major say in keeping him IF Diggs wanted to stay. I believe Diggs wanted out. -
Is there a Dolphins fan out there who doesn't think Allen is better than Tua? If so, what are they smoking?

Caleb Williams is off to a rough rookie start
Mikie2times replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
I didn't see Williams do very much that was designed. He was however a complete freak off schedule. To me he is a poor mans Josh Allen. Does not have all the athletic skill Allen has but a talented kid. Will he be able to reinvent himself to be more structured? Josh was able to do it enough. -
well I have mentioned that Allen needs to make the reads and get that ball spread around with the players we have currently. And i don't think he has done as well as he could. Or certainly not to my hopes and liking and I mentioned , Brady needs to enable that thinking within Josh Kromer needs to get him time on some of the multiple breaking routes and Allen need to memorize his checkdowns. This could work. Josh Allen is still capable of growth and maturation of mind.

Josh thinks he can come off the bench in the NBA

Luka reminds me of Allen, slow, yet steady, quicker mind than body, great pump fakes. -
this is 100% it. Mahomes is a better QB right now. Mahomes wins games and in the most crucial moments things work right with Mahomes. Whether he is a major factor in that does not matter. Mahomes wins. He is there fore the better QB. But there is nothing Mahomes can do that Allen cannot. There are things Allen can do that Mahomes cannot. Allen has more talent and I do not think anyone can debate that. Only smooth brain folks just give it to Mahomes, or put Jackson on the same tier.

We have Josh Allen. He alone dictates how opponents must play us. Just keep pace in the game.

I'm not sure that Josh Allen is the best QB in the league, but there not much doubt about him being better than Tua. The old saying is, "The best ability is availability." Between the two of them, Josh Allen is an iron man and Tua is likely one more concussion away from the end of his career.

Good analysis of Trevor Lawrence in The Athletic by Randy Mueller
SCBills replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
Fair, but playing through injury is a big deal for QB’s. 1) For availability, an issue for guys like Burrow and Jackson as of recent years. 2) For being able to play through it like Allen. Nobody gives Allen any excuses for playing the last half of the year with a partially torn UCL two years ago. He had no business playing in most of those games. -
What do you think mcDermott would be without Josh Allen? What if we took “The right Josh”

There are media and some Bills fans who still seem to hate us Picking Allen. -
The offense was so talented in 2023 that Allen had to rush 9 times per game for the last 7 games to save the season and get us in the playoffs. For those keeping score at home, that’s a 153 carry pace on a full season. That would’ve ranked 37th in the NFL last year. Elite RB2 type numbers. And as much as Shakir and Kincaid “came on” during Brady’s reign, Allen had a putrid completion percentage of 60%, threw 10 TD’s to 7 INT’s, with a passer rating of 85. If this is Josh Allen released with Kincaid and Shakir as the focal points, it sounds like it’s gonna be a disaster lmao.
