  1. I was just thinking the same thing; this thread was created a bit over a month ago.
  2. Note the diving swing and a whiff from the fat-assed cop trying to tackle him on the 1 yard line! Great run! That wasn't training camp! Those moves were made in the biggest game of them all!
  3. I agree; I think Seattle is in need of a timeout and a re-think as to what and how they are doing things, but the new plan is going to include Russell Wilson! Although at 32 he's not as young as he once was.
  4. Good God know! Pick one up on waivers; pick up someone else's cut, steal one from a practice squad...do anything but waste draft assets on one! They are everywhere and they are all about the same.
  5. Oh God, please do not draft a RB! Get one off the waiver wire; they are everywhere.
  6. I was digging the groove in the first song (lots of pinch harmonics!) until the guy started singing. It deteriorated quickly after that.
  7. Sure; these guitars were knock-offs of specifically trademarked guitars. I doubt they were going to be sold as the actual guitar of the artist...just a replica or tribute guitar. Thing is, only Gibson or Fender (for example) can sell those, unless they have sold you a license to manufacture such guitars yourself. These are just knock-offs, like a fake Louis Vuitton purse. Chinese knock-offs are gigantic problem in IP law; the goods they rip off keep getting more and more sophisticated, as does the quality of their copying. It's not just Gucci purses anymore!
  8. If you had to put out football informational content 24/7, you might think otherwise! LOL
  9. His condition seemed to be much worse in the SB than it was in our game. Maybe I'm wrong on that, but I thought it looked like he couldn't take off and run anything close to normal in the SB.
  10. Rams unlikely to be in SB next year, IMO.
  11. Even if you are in the camp that thinks the SB was all about defense, you should be able to see that the easier, more reliable path to victory is through offense. KC got to the SB 2 years in a row and won one of them with a crazy high powered offense that couldn't be beat. And they will be back! Probably lots of times. Bills need to work on offense; we don't have a dangerous speed threat on that entire side of the ball save Brown, and even he isn't much of a threat. Keep going Bills! Build up the offense; get more weapons.
  12. I will believe that the Bills will be inserted into a game of that magnitude when I see it. Until then, don't count on it.
  13. Your point #3 is the one that makes me want to comment most. There is no doubt the SB was officiated with a different mentality than our AFC Championship game was. KC was called for a lot of defensive holding/PI type stuff, whereas they really let that go in our game. It was such a night and day difference, you have to assume the NFL reviewed our game, thought about it, and initiated a new game plan ordering the officials to be less lenient with that aspect of the game. Would we have won our game with SB type officiating? No, I don't think so, but the game would have been closer.
  14. Sal is first and foremost, a *fan* of the team. The reality is the Bills were outclassed by the Chiefs, at least on the day we played....twice last year. Of course we are still a very good team, and I think we'll have a very strong record again next year, but the team needs to be improved in many areas. Holding hands and chanting "we can do it" isn't going to get the job done. Lots of key decisions to be made this off-season. If Beane and Co. get them right, watch out! Keep an eye on Josh Allen, too. As always, he remains the most important link in the chain. He morphed into a totally new player this year. He needs to stay that same guy next year, too, and beyond, or none of the rest will matter.
  15. Funny you write this. Last night, the moment the game ended, I had a similar reaction. I was reflecting on the season, as a whole, being over, and noting that early September is a LONG way away right now!
  16. It's going to be a while before we play another game, I think. Wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't happen next week either.
  17. People don't seem to catch on that, at the NFL level, if there is a hole to run through ANY of these RBs will run through it just fine. If there is nothing up front with the blocking. The play will go for a 1 yard loss, no gain, or maybe a 1 yard gain. I.E., not much of anything. Our "run game" sucks b/c our OL sucks at run blocking. Too much blubber up front, not enough lean, strong, mean guys. Get Incognito back over here! He seems to be back off the bottle now.
  18. Oh God no! We've put huge resources into foolish positions like the interior of the DL. Doesn't have enough correlation to wins and losses!
  19. How about Jason Pierre-Paul? How about Devon White? He had a monster game. Shows us what we are missing with Edmunds. That Tampa roster is a hell of a lot better than just Tom Brady. They have a GOOD team with DEPTH.
  20. I knew we'd hear all about the Tampa running. Good God. The "difference" was a thousand complex things, not a single easy thing to point to. Mahomes was clearly hobbled, seemingly more injured (foot) than when he played the Bills in the AFC championship game. He could hardly run by his standards. That was a huge factor. TB consistently got big pressure on Mahomes and knocked him on his butt like 8 or 10 times! We couldn't come close to that. Yes, Tampa did get in some effective runs now and again, but it isn't the key to the game.
  21. Strongly disagree... If Tampa can shut down Mahomes and the KC offense to that degree, Allen and the Bills wouldn't have gotten a single touchdown. TB probably would have gotten theirs and we wouldn't have been able to keep up.
  22. Let's all try to describe complex things in the simplest black and white terms only please! ALL of New England's success was DIRECTLY attributable to ONLY one of BB or Tom Brady! Not both! Nor in any combination! That's obvious!
  23. Tyler Kroft won the Lady Byng, and McDermott was a finalist for the Jack Adams, but lost.
  24. Got rid of mine probably 10 years ago. I realized there was no need for it and I don't need 2 phone bills.
