Defense is going to be tough. Completely different scheme. Vast majority of our defense are undersized.

In Allen's 1st Preseason game on that incomplete deep ball I remember thinking to myself, "How did he not get ANY top school offers?" Seriously, I've seen some absolutely trash backup and even starting QBs in my 35+ years of watching college football. How did so many coaches not see the talent?

100% the beginning of it all. Not to mention those injuries have forced smaller/slower players to be playing positions that they have no business playing (Milano, Bernard, etc). Since Edmunds, McDermott has done this and it's gotten worse. Sean's defensive scheme is very difficult to learn and let alone master. This is why so many washed up former Bills have been brought back. McDermott would have rather had players who could run his "Process" than adapt to what he has. People don't seem to realize how bad our roster is. Hamlin was our starter last season. Had he not been injured, he may have starting again this year. What other playoff team does Coleman start? It was embarrassing watching him out there as a #1/2 WR.

STOP being cute on offense. Everyone knows what I mean. When a play doesn't work, burn it from the playbook. You have a unicorn at QB, use his arm. Develop his screen game. He needs severe work. He has zero touch when pressured. The Knox, Shakir, and Cooks throws show it. All 3 were difficult, but Davis Webb, Michael Penix, and Nix made throws that elite QBs should make, let alone average to above average. Lastly, get the guy some real weapons or be prepared to lose him in a few years. Build around your strength.

"Who are we going to replace McDermott with?" This is ALL I've heard for 5 years. If you can't get the job done, you should be fired. Look at how quickly Seattle, Philly, and NE reloaded after down years. Beane isn't immune to blame either.
