Yea I think that’s a good compromise between the two parties. He got an extra 14 mill to play this year and still gets to be free after the year. He’s not going to get a mega deal but he’s still young enough to get himself a nice 2 or 3 year deal worth 50-70 million. He’ll be alright unless he has a serious injury and then that case he banked another 14 million

I'd substitute Carter at DT for Phillips, who likely is going to the P/S IMO. I didnt like Greens preseason - interior OL depth is what they'd look at though. I think the 9th spot is between Lundt and Feeney, and if they think Lundt can make that transition to G if needed. I lean toward them keeping Lundt. Im really hopeful that they dont IR Max. I think he's clearly going to miss week 1, but think he has a chance to be back week 2 or 3. Either way, Dane has been atrocious and think we can get him onto the P/S. All that said, I feel like Carter and Lundt will make the team and Dane/Green will be cut. Phillips to the P/S seems more likely now. That opens 1 spot. If Max isnt IRd, then its obviously him. If he is, then I could see us keeping a guy like Ciarlo around. He embodies what McD is looking for.

Yeah, people didn't watch the video and started making assumptions. Except they did it with a guy Joe Marino) who watches a crap ton of tape on players all over the league and is one of the most consistently objective voices out there. This is the Bills Squad episode from the draft where they talk about Walker and Jerry O breaks down why he thinks it was likely an awesome pick and insane value...sounds like everything Jerry said is coming true and this is where Marino's mind started opening up that he was hopefully loud wrong on that pick and the grade he had put on Walker (without the medicals and not being a doctor, sounds like Jerry O has significant background in that stuff not just as a player, but through medical sales post career and through coaching/having kids that play): They start talking about Walker at 21:45 in the video and it really is an extremely excellent listen, highly recommend to everyone.

It's possible they keep 2 QB's on the PS or White wants to try his luck on a different teams PS. But if he wants to be our #3 on the PS and we're only keeping 3, it's going to be White. I think his true desire to play football , true speed , may be done with. BUT many guys prove their desire for money really never slows down, and it’s a time where a vet can play a few snaps a game, or suddenly complain of calf pain or some other subjective injury and grab another couple mil. Don’t know the guy , but I think he could have been more available last year (. Wrist pain also is a subjective, unmeasurable thing. Fractures, ligament tears , kidney stones , even concussions are more easily proven and measured with historical proof of recovery timetables). Just saying I agree, would not expect much; might do a few plays to hang on , but I bet it’s Buffalo 2 as the big picture.

I'd rather keep Buchyele as the PS 3rd string guy than White. Unless you're worried about someone stealing your PS guy like we did Brian Brohm.
