Agreed. I can't stand the chiefs or him, or his feigning injuries, but this looked like a real one and it's a shame for the sport.

Agreed, but I can’t shake the feeling his agent was telling him to fake an injury and blame the loss and the season on it, son he could save his brand.

the chiefs being eliminated softens the blow of this for them big time. If all goes well, he's back by October at the latest. And no one will be shocked if he's playing week 1, which will probably be a week short of 9 months.

The tough guys on Chiefs Planet want Reid to retire. One even said something like "anyone who doesn't want him gone is a p*ssy". Jerry Granville was right when he said NFL stood for Not For Long. What a bunch of spoiled brats.

Love seeing Chiefs miss playoffs, but prayers to Mahomes...never like to see injuries.

Never wanna see things like this happen. Obviously there is never a good time for an injury like this… but if there’s any silver lining, the Chiefs’ season was basically over.  He won’t miss meaningful football per se, and he’ll be back doing his thing next year.
