Offensive coaching has been kinda an uncharacteristic mess for them this year tbh which has been a lot of their problem.  Defense stepped up huge in this one

they need to build Spags a statue … he is definitely their driving force now on that coaching staff

I thought the playcalling on offense was huge for them today tbh

allowed them to control a game where the QB wasn't great

Nobody knows yet; they're playing it really close to the vest

It was reported Rodgers will play next week.

There's a real chance for the Colts to miss the playoffs. Look at their remaining schedule. 4 games against the Texans and Jags, and Seattle and SF. Brutal

I don't know how the NFL can make a schedule where you don't play 2 teams in your own division until the end of November.

Like I don't think Tranquill or Chenal are necessarily the most talented lbs but they play so free and aggressive

I don't know, man.

Every time I turn on a Chiefs game, Chenal is making multiple plays.

I don't know how good the GM is. They've missed on some high picks in recent drafts, the coaching is just so next level it covers up for a lot. The QB can make mistake after mistake after mistake and they still beat the top team in the conference.

The '22 draft class netted CB1 Trent McDuffie, sack leader George Karlaftis, starting safety Bryan Cook, key cornerbacks Jaylen Watson, Nazeeh Johnson and Josh Williams, impact linebacker Leo Chenal and bulldozing running back Isiah Pacheco.

But keep harping on they missed on Skye Moore in this draft.  Thats a lot of starters from one class.

I'm so done with this season

I blame myself.  Started out deciding I was just going to passively watch the KC game and not let any outcome bother me.  Then stupidly I set up a 2nd TV with Sunday Ticket quad screen when everything was going good - then the slow torture began

So much for passively watch and not let outcomes bother me

I don't mean he's bad or anything, I'm saying he's a good player that Spags' system maximizes

KC has been largely carried by the defense since at least 2023.

Looking meh and still winning is the mark of a very good team

Not sure about that.

They still haven't beaten anyone.  If Chase played today, they probably get the L.

They're having a "stars aligning" kind of season - but it reminds me more of the Commanders last year than the dynasty-era Pats.

Chenal, Bolton and Tranquill always seem like theyre healthy also.

Karlaftis is just another version of Rousseau. Cook hasn't been very good, better this year than last but still meh. The other guys are role players or decent starters at best. KC didn't win this game because they're more talented than the Colts. They didn't even win because of the QB play. They simply out coached their opponent.

Keep telling yourself that, while you watch them in the superbowl all these years.
