28 effing pressures and our idiot left tackle is all smiley happy after the game after absolutely killing us with a false start

Saw that, should be fined for it

LOOK AT THE SABRES. NOTHING IS GOING TO CHANGE. No one is going to be fired. Get used to it. Be happy with Josh's MVP winning last season. THATS as far as the Bills will go. Be happy we have a unicorn at QB. Be happy that we have an Alien in Allen. That's as good as we'll get. This is who we are. Who we'll ever be. This is it. Win some lose some. It in the end that's it.

Glad I spend $0 on them

Against the Texans defense with Brown injured it was always going to be tough. The Titans kept them to 16. If we had managed that we would have won.

The offense was a shambles. No one is denying that. But the defensive performance in the first half was equally as bad. Especially considering we're meant to have a defensive head coach.

Not remotely true. The Bills offense scored on ONE TD and it was a defensive bust on a long TD run. Bills defense gave up probably 1 more drive than they should have tonight.  But that first drive - every NFL team is gonna have at least a few good drives.

The Bills D was the only reason this wasn't a blow out. The Texans STARTED two drives deep in Bills territory and came away with 6 freakin points.  The Bills went an entire 3rd quarter getting just a single first down.

This is nuts to me. Are you demanding perfection, and then when it doesn't happen claiming it's terrible?

You tend to look bad when you're outmatched. That's what tonight was. Got our asses kicked up and down the field.

100%

I wish beane and McDermott could build a defense like that

Who will go first McDermott or Allen?  At this point Sean has become Marvin Lewis 2.0 and the way Josh is getting punished lately I’m not so sure it’s a lock anymore that Josh will outlast him.

This was a really bad game, but I'm not quite as doom and gloom as everybody here. I kind of suspected this might have been a loss with the short week. We match up really badly with the Texans. They are kind of like the Pats defense but on steroids for us. If we have to go on the road to Houston in the playoffs we are likely cooked.

I wouldn't be surprised if we just drop one more game the rest of the season (depending on how the injuries shake out from this one...jeez...). No other team on our schedule can bring pressure like that without blitzing. Only Denver can really do that.

Thursdays are always a bit sloppy but this team has been horribly sloppy all year.   maybe part of it has to do with all the injuries and

substitutions but its a really bad look

that’s what kills me. Every other game is a total slop fest, filled with mistakes and turnovers and endless penalties.

I thought Brady should have run Cook at that 3rd & 1 .  Get the first and then take 4 shots to the end zone

Just another coaching blunder on a night of many.

We still got badly outplayed and still had the chance to steal this game.

Pittsburgh and philadelphia can both do that.  Cleveland has a one man wrecking crew and the defense is going to give us all kinds of problems.

That's fine, but I wasn't talking about Davis vs Keon. I said he would have helped more than Elijah Moore did, and I don't see how anyone can argue otherwise

My bad. I didn't even know Moore played tonight. You're right that it would be hard to be worse than 1 reception for -3 yards.

Pegula is gonna hire Jason Garrett or Matt Patricia or something stupid

That’s possible.  But if we have a new GM not sure how much worse end result would be. Always hope he gets Seattle OC

Sure Allen is open to criticism but again the O line was terrible with immediate pressure on half the pass plays.  There would have been 10 - 12 sacks except for the fact that Allen got away.

Both can be true.

1000% OL was whooped, and it likely had an impact on Allen’s reaction in passing downs. He also took of at least two times into pressures, and tried to extend multiple times that resulted in wildly negative plays or injury. These are the kind of 2018 Allen plays that happen and you know something isn’t right. The only success we had growing the ball was predetermined quick game. That is a failure in game planning and execution. It was a complete fail

The drive before the half was pathetic.

And I was upset. But they definitely gave us a real chance

Idk maybe this team is not it. They looked outmatched

This was always going to be a hard game on the road against that D on a short week. They already have an advantage at home with the snap count and crowd noise and the short week made it even bigger.

Just made too many dumb plays, too many mistakes and some really dumb play calls at inopportune times.

it’s almost like the stuff posters posted during those cupcake wins as being issues were/are actually issues.

I made a thread that the bills have a passing game problem after the 3-0 start and probably got like 30 Eye rolls.

They have had issues all year. It's been very obvious to see all season long

Imagine a missed XP on the first offensive drive being the difference.

On the 4th and 27 play, I think Shakir could have scored if he cut back inside of Gabe Davis as he was coming over to block the last defender.

Lot's of what-if's, but yeah, that XP would've meant the Bills would be kicking the game-winning FG at the end......but, they obviously would not have been going for it on 4th and 27 if the game was tied at that point.

They weren't tough enough for this type of game. That's alarming to me

Everyone knew they needed to grind it out
