A career AFTER football that doesn't involve the NFL. I agree with this and think he's going to be one of those guys who hangs it up way before anyone expects him to do so. Yeah b/c Josh is the first QB to have a pregnant wife/kid on the way?? Lol, I mean heaven forbid Patrick Mahome's dysfunctional wife can manage lol -- and Patrick didn't seem phased. And I get that Patrick had poorer seasons statistically, but he also lost Tyreek and KC was reconfiguring their offense. He made it count when i mattered most. 1 hour ago, Simon said: It's not even the lack of sleep, extra duties, etc. I am 100% convinced that having your first child rewires a guys brain and turns every man into a bumbling buffoon from about the 5th month of pregnancy until the baby is approaching a year old. My experience, it's the mother who has their brain rewired with 1st child and many studies show that. Quote

Dude... not gonna lie... I was literally wondering this last night and thought about posting it on here. I decided not to and thought everyone would say that's nuts. With that said, we all know Allen is a family man and kids are in the future... curious if the plan was to impregnate her over the Summer so she would give birth during the dead season in March or April. Probably not happening, but honestly I'm glad you posted this thread. At least it shows I'm not the only crazy one thinking about when Allen's having kids 1 Quote

If anything, that should make Allen happy and help him play better. Not to mention his wife, brother and dad to deal with. Though truly, if anything, having screaming, pants *****, "ME ME ME!" people around all the time likely made fatherhood that much easier. Quote

You just know Mahomes is texting his wife "staying late at practice" and then he just sits in the parking lot for an hour before driving home. 1 10 1 Quote

Walking Tall Posted yesterday at 09:11 PM Posted yesterday at 09:11 PM (edited) The late, great Mickey Goldman once said, “women weaken the legs”. And Josh said his footwork wasn’t up to par after the Panthers game. Draw your own conclusions. Edited yesterday at 09:11 PM by Walking Tall 3 Quote

Process Posted yesterday at 09:31 PM Posted yesterday at 09:31 PM Honestly, not getting great vibes from Allen lately. Looks and sounds like a guy who is ready to hang em up and hit the golf course. Hopefully he shuts all of us up on Sunday. 1 1 Quote
QB Bills Posted yesterday at 09:35 PM Posted yesterday at 09:35 PM If this theory holds true, Keon is definitely scoring a lot more off the field than on. Hide your wives and daughters, Buffalonians. Quote
VW82 Posted yesterday at 09:38 PM Posted yesterday at 09:38 PM Getting pregnant doesn’t feel like the culprit unless he really didn’t want to. That said, I recall trying (and failing) to get pregnant with our second and that causing lots of emotional stress, especially with the miscarriages. Those were awful, and would cause anyone to have issues that bled into other parts of their life, especially depending how their wife handled it (not great in my case). Quote

I honestly think he's just burned out from constantly coming up short against the Chiefs in the playoffs, and failing to bring the fan base a championship. I think his talk in the off-season about having no expectations is his way of trying to manage that disappointment and stress. Part of me also wonders if he hasn't been hurt and had his bell wrong more than we realize as fans. Regardless, and I hate to say it, but I'm getting the feeling that we may have seen the best of Josh already. Quote

I'm wondering if that's what Hailee's "Can you really have it all" question came from. Quote
