Im not out on Brady, but this Offense has been meh this year and doesn’t scare anyone .. even with the best player in football as his QB. The reason I’m not completely out is because of the WR situation he’s been given. Id want to see him with a legit outside WR before I’m ready to think of him in any long term capacity. 4 games of 30 points is nothing to sneeze at. We’ve gotten so used to winning big, we fail to recognize that most of the leagues offenses suck Quote

Having said that, the notion that Pegula (PSU grad and major donor) is pushing for PSU to hire Bradybas next HC makes no sense to me, on several levels. 1) Brady hasn’t been involve in college football for 6 yrs. A lot has changed in that time. 2) Brady has never been acHC at any level. 3) PSU fans have been complaining about their current OC being too cute, and having no downfield passing game. Ring any bells? 4) bills are still among Super Bowl favorites this year. Who ever heard of an owner trying to replace his OC in the middle of a Super Bowl run? Bills don’t need a distraction. I agree that the idea of Pegula pushing for his team's OC to get hired at his alma mater doesn't ring true and is far-fetched. Also, thanks for clarifying who "Fitz" is. Quote

"Complementary football" in Bills speak, means everyone does what McDermott wants. Else it aint complimentary. 1 1 Quote

I’ve seen seasons where the Bills offense is unstoppable in September and then a whimper in November. If the offensive slide continues through November l, then I’ll be concerned. I want them clicking on all cylinders in December and January when it actually matters Quote

I can’t wait until he leaves, and when/if we sign an intelligent offensive coordinator who doesn’t design cute plays, but a real pro offense. I'm interested in what some of your quotes here were from last season and how much they have changed to this season . If you are one of those that change as the wind blows which I'm sure if we could pull up some reply's we might find that you are ! I understand the frustration, but if you are what seems to be a band wagon guy that is only happy when the team is doing good there are other teams looking for fans and there are some that are doing good this season but I've been in it for the long haul over 40 yrs! Hopefully this is just a bump in the road and they will get back to being the Bills we have seen prior to this rough spot but I'm sticking with it as usual to see what happens, just saying ... Last year I was pretty frustrated with Brady. More towards the playoffs in particular. I just kept my mouth shut of course as I can't argue with the success that the offence was having. Every single thing went right for the offence last year though. Josh had the least amount of negative plays by a QB in NFL history last season, and it is just a very tough formula to replicate. We are now seeing what this offence can look like when there are a normal amount of negative plays that happens for a team, with not many explosive plays in the passing game. Quote

We are now seeing what this offence can look like when there are a normal amount of negative plays that happens for a team, with not many explosive plays in the passing game. Before the draft, some of us commented on regression towards the mean on turnovers as one reason the WR room needed to be augmented in order to increase the likelihood of explosive plays. Folks weren't interested, and Beane chastised radio hosts and played the Josh Allen card like a permanent get out of jail license against any criticism. It was the defense that needed fixing. Well, what if the scheme is tired and broken? It doesn't help that the GM has a spotty record at best on day 1 and 2 picks. Edited 25 minutes ago by Dr. Who 1 1 Quote
