TNF Week 6 (10/9/25): Philadelphia at New York Giants (no Bills discussion please)

Feels like there have been alot of teams favored by big spreads in the past few weeks who are not covering. Or just outright losing. Us against the Saints, Phins and NE. Giants against the Chargers and Eagles. Bucs vs the Jets. Packers vs Browns. Packers vs Dallas.

Any given Sunday (Or Thursday)

Ginats should be 3-3 if not for some major bad fumbles last week vs NO. Dart is the real deal. He has played 3 games and won 2. Skattebo is awesome! When Nabors is back next year... look out. Then their D line. It's really good. Schein/Daboll just might have saved their careers.

Giants Broncos next week is popcorn worthy!!!

Ahh yes….  The old “we should have drafted this player” comment, after he has a decent game.

I mean, Skattebo was a stud in college, so it’s not like his production is coming from nowhere.  And it’s been in more than just last night’s game.  He’s clearly showing his skillset is translating just fine to the NFL game.

Hard to say Dart is the real deal. I feel like rookie QB's or QB's with under 20 starts under their belts are now more likely to get off to hot starts in their careers and then cool off than they were in the past. I think DC's really need about a season plus worth of tape to dig into how to disrupt a QB now. So while I like Dart and I think he's going to be a nice player I also think I wouldn't say he's arrived or anything.

How in the hell in Cam Skattebo not a Buffalo Bill?  Someone should be fired for that.

I could see passing on him if we were a passing offense, and happy with our current 3.  But if you mainly  want to run the ball, like we do,  he is an absolute monster, and a complete 3 down back.

It must be nice to get impactful rookies.  The giants had 3 rookies last night that were a huge reason why they won.  When was the last time the bills had even one rookie like that!? Gotta be the mvp himself!

as much as I like the giants and Daboll, I was secretly wishing he and schoun would get fired and return to Buffalo next season

I think Giants win the KC game with Dart. Took a really special all time bad performance by Wilson in that one for the Giants to lose. Their pass rush is probably the best in the entire league.

Saquon Barkley looks invisible/washed up so far. We'll give Saquon 2 more games before concluding though. He hasn't had a 100 yard game yet.

Eagles are in trouble. Without him being Menace Saquon Barkley, it's over.

Barkley’s great season last year was always about the offensive line. Any RB could have had a good season with how that line was playing.

Barkley was able to take it to the next level for an all time great RB season, because he is uniquely good at burning linebackers and defensive backs once he gets to the second level. A great o-line is required to have a lot of chances like that though.

The Philly Message Board is pure gold right now. They are done with Hurts. They want him gone.

LOL.  Hurts has a full "NO TRADE" contract.

They have also pushed out so much of his cap he isn't going anywhere for a long time.

Dart seems to have that special something that makes great QBs.  He reminds me of Josh Allen as a rookie when Allen's most distinguishing traits was his leadership and will to win.  Dart is far more polished than Allen at this point but I think his early success is much more dependent on his leadership and ability to ad-lib than to his skills, although those are significantly better than most young QBs.   He seems more like Jayden Daniels than CJ Stroud.

He’s had more than “a decent game.”

God forbid we miss out on a Landon Jackson…

With everything we’ve seen from Jackson, it would be a huge loss.

Barkley had a LOT of touches last year. That wears on a body. Historically, the year after a RB had a 2000 yard rushing season, there's a dip the following season. There are of course exceptions, but this was always likely the season he was going to have after last year.

That and long stretches of games go by and they don't hand it to him. Play calling has been very bad for Philly this year
