Which sport wouldn’t Josh dominate?

I love hearing players on podcasts answer “Tell us something we don’t know about Josh.  What makes him great?”

Bills player answered “Josh is great at everything.  McD will say ‘Hey Josh- if you hit the goal post, practice is over.’  And Josh will hit the goalpost from 40 yards out.  Josh does all the time.  McD will challenge Josh differently- Josh wins again.

Grear Athletes are great at most sports.  Josh is a super athlete,

Baseball, Basketball, Golf- I bet MMA, Soccer, Rugby, Spartan Races, Luge, Skiing, Skating- I bet Josh would excel at most every sport.

good luck trying to play pickle ball at 6'5

I don't think he'd do well as a horse jockey.

how would he do as the racehorse?

Jim Brown is considered one of the greatest Lacrosse players of all time.  I suspect Josh with his size, intelligence, coordination, quickness and power would dominate in that sport.

That’s interesting. I never knew Jim Brown even played Lacrosse.

I could picture Josh being dominant on the pro bowlers tour. If not that, he’d probably be one of those guys playing cornhole on ESPN 2 at 3 in the morning.

I hope McDermott challenges Josh to win the SuperBowl.  Go Bills !!!

cricket.  He could be the best batsman in the world with that kind of hand-eye-feet coordination and his ability to run fast.

I’ve seen his swing. You’ve seen his arm.  We’ve seen his work ethic.  Baseball for sure.  I mean like Ohtani level.  He could have played any position he wanted.

Jim Brown was a beast on the LAX field.  Scored 43 goals and 21 assists in his senior year leading the Orangemen  to a 10-0 record.  Was voted first team All American and is in the college LAX hall of fame.  Pretty fair football player too.

Seems to me he would make an outstanding TE, has the natural build for it and essentially all the measurables one would look for.

I think the idea of him playing basketball ball is over hyped.  By NBA standards he’s short and slow, he might have fit back in the 80’s, not today’s game.

I got into a discussion with a guy in a York pub years ago (It was the year Leeds United first got relegated). My argument was (and is) that the reason that the US doesn't compete in international football/soccer is that it's not the default sport here It's interesting to think about how certain Amerrican athletes would be as footballers. My usual example is Steph Curry. His feet are so quick, and he has elite vision. So does a guy like James Cook. You put a ball in their feet from birth and I think both would have been elite players.

The reason the USA is not better at soccer is because it's pay to play and insanely expensive...it actually probably is the default sport in a lot of ways...it's just crazy expensive to play at the level needed to develop elite soccer players.

Look at it this way...Josh Allen was basically almost completely missed as a prospect...he didn't go to a ton of football camps, which cost a crap ton of money and travel to attend...now imagine the entire system is designed so essentially only afluent kids can afford to play a sport (soccer) and the whole basis of the system is to make money per player.

In Europe and other places, clubs that identify an elite player and develop them, are then able to either keep that player within their organization or they transfer that player to a different club and get a huge transfer fee that allows them to continue developing other players...to make money, in the usa the goal is to get players in the door...in other countries it is find unidentified players with elite potential and get them to be elite...the players identified as having that potential do not have to pay in other countries
