Yes Cook needs to run the ball…. Needs his touches. But I’d like to see Davis build on what was last year. Maybe average 7 carries a game vs less than 3.

I saw it said earlier that Davis decided he didn't want to be just the short yardage power RB and deliberately lost weight this season to try and gain speed. So he basically made himself useless on purpose.

I always thought he had a lot of talent but needed to work on other areas to become a Bell cow

 

He is legitimately a feature back and I'm glad beane got it done 

 

He has world class vision , amazing burst and has been finishing behind his pads for a while and hes hitting his prime

I think Cook may suffer how Lamar does with MVP.  With Cook, Josh will get a lot of credit for the boxes he sees.

You always have worry how guys perform after getting paid and I will also admit I was wrong about Cook and he deserves his extension and more. It's just too bad Rousseau has not come anywhere near the level of play after getting paid this offseason.

 

While Cook has elevated himself into a top 4-5 RB conversation,  Rousseau looks more like the undrafted free agent and has been a major disappointment,

Ray has regressed. His vision is poor and he lost weight because he didn’t want to be the short yardage back.

People keep saying Ray lost weight because he didn't want to be the short yardage back 

 

Is everybody sure that the bills weren't sure how long cook was going to hold out and if you didn't practice in the preseason he wasn't going to start in the regular season 

 

So maybe they were telling Ray Davis to get his body ready for a fuller load not just a power back role and then cook got his deal and Ray is kind of in limbo 

 

Because he cut weight maybe preparing for a bigger role which didn't come

I can totally see him winning OPY if he keeps this up.

 

And - If we are being truly honest about "MVP" in terms of the MVP race, and by honest meaning not just putting every QB we can on the list - then I find it hard to not list Cook as 2nd behind Allen right now.  Lamar?  1-3 and missed plenty of throws and plays in all 3 losses despite his great overall personal stats.  Mahomes?  2-2 and he hasn't been having an MVP level season thus far.  Herbert?  Just blew a critical opportunity to hold on to a 2 game lead over KC and was the reason he lost to a bad Giants team missing its best weapon and starting a rookie QB in his first start ever.  

 

No RB has much of a chance to win MVP (we have seen as much in recent years) - but I cant really put another player 2nd behind Allen right now who has meant more to their teams start than Cook.

Taylor had a bit of a down week and didn't crack 100 yards. 

 

Cook got over that and a TD. 

 

Cook is showing why he commanded his payday. He has the second most rushing yards and has the most rushing TDs in the league at 5, more than Henry or Saquan

Unless injury happens, no one is besting Bijan Robinson for OPY.  Maybe Jonathan Taylor.

 

Bijan is an absolute weapon!  If you didn't know any better,  you'd think he was a WR the way he runs routes and catches the ball.    

 

He literally does it all at an elite level.

His workload will lessen as the season goes on as Brady has already mentioned they need to get Davis and Ty more involved.  

 

I realistically see him going 1300-1400 yds and 15 TD'S with 300 yd receiving .

 

Whether that's good enough for OPOTY is yet to be seen.
