I personally hate it, but I think you argue about its effectiveness. I would like to see more aggression in the secondary. The D-Line just needs to be flat out better. They need to finish and hit the QB, Tua had all day in a timing offense and it burned us. I agree. We're watching a scripted game plan by the Bills. Make that 39 yard FG and get off the field late in the 2nd quarter on 3rd & 12 or 3rd & 10 and the O likely gets points before the end of the half. Net, game over after the Bills score at the start of the 3rd. It didn't go that way but in the end we still won by 10. The Bills are doubling down on what they did last season. 1 Quote

Hairston hasn't seen the field because of injury, Jackson can't make the active roster and Sanders is a liability at the moment. The dolphins MO is to get the ball out quick. Tua was getting it out in under 4 seconds alot. All i care about is pressures, which the bills got. Pressures create incomplete passes and turnovers. You realize he’s been sacked SEVEN times in the first two games. 2 Quote

Seems crazy to just have gone 25 games with at least one takeaway I might be wrong but I don't think that stat is correct. I think that we didn't lose turnover battle 25 games. Might be wrong. 1 Quote
Bills!Win! Posted Friday at 03:46 AM Posted Friday at 03:46 AM There are 3 types of Bills-Dolphins games. 1. a typical blowout 2. a bills win where we let them hang around until the 4th quarter 3. Heat wave 1 Quote
zow2 Posted Friday at 03:46 AM Posted Friday at 03:46 AM It was a survive and advance game. Miami came to play and Buffalo was extremely conservative and it was clear Allen was coached to hand off and do quick check down throws. The Fins also tried to play a conservative, mistake free game, to have a chance to win late. It almost worked. Bernard with the INT at the end when Miami was driving to tie it saved the game. 1 1 Quote
Rousseauisnoschmo Posted Friday at 03:47 AM Posted Friday at 03:47 AM We won. All that matters. Another huge play by the defense late. 3-0 baby plus ten days rest. Quote

Jerry Jabber Posted Friday at 03:47 AM Posted Friday at 03:47 AM Division games can be tough. With that said, I’m glad the Bills got the win and are 3-0. Would’ve liked to seen Brady call some better plays, especially downfield. Guess I shouldn’t complain too much, especially since the offense scored 31 points. Still don’t get why McDermott didn’t challenge the sideline catch from Hill early on in the game? On defense, they gave up way too many third downs. Where is Rousseau? So far, he’s been invisible this season. Great INT by Bernard! Hopefully once Oliver and Milano come back, the defense will look better than they did tonight. 1 Quote

You realize the dolphins were playing for their lives today and whipped out some old school mcdaniel concepts? Tons of crossers, bubble screens, running back swings? I watched both dolphins games the first two weeks, they were not doing that as much. They went back to their roots tonight. Quick passes, dont force tua to have to read too much, 3 step, throw. Classic mcdaniel. Edited Friday at 03:48 AM by Aesop 1 1 Quote
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted Friday at 03:48 AM Posted Friday at 03:48 AM The Brady-era Pats won like a dozen games against us that looked like this. If you just don’t put the ball in jeopardy you win the game like 90% of the time even when the inferior opponent plays better than expected. 1 2 Quote

Fingers crossed his back holds up - when he was drafted with those back issues I was not expecting him to take as many snaps as he has. Expected they would need to ease him into the rotation, but it does not seem like they are coddling him at all. Quote

dakarider17 Posted Friday at 03:49 AM Posted Friday at 03:49 AM Bills just didn't seem to have full intensity and looked a little too comfortable at times. Need a little more intensity and urgency. And have the receivers catch the ball! Quote

Walker was projected to be a possible first round pick until he had the back injury season. I think it's clear that we got an incredible value there and he's got a lot of potential. We might be looking back at this draft and calling it a home run in a year or two. Quote
HappyDays Posted Friday at 03:50 AM Posted Friday at 03:50 AM Was this the worst possible outcome for Miami? They lose to go 0-3 but it wasn't so egregiously bad that you can move on from McDaniel. If anything this game showed his mettle as a coach, rallying his players to play tough against the division Goliath when the rest of the world was declaring them dead. If anything this game is a referendum on Tua. For the 2nd week in a row he threw a horrid INT on their potential game winning drive. 3 1 1 Quote
