Concerning injury report. What's up with Taron? I don't remember that

But surely, you do remember last season, when 75% of our injuries consisted of players that finished the game and magically popped up on the injury report a few days later, right?

I don't know how this keeps happening, but it keeps happening.

Just finished the first half of Jets/Steelers. Feels like the new OC has really embraced Fields ability to move. It seems like every play he’s threatening to run with the ball with some sort of zone read or PA. Steelers got gashed a few times, and then some assignment adjustments (End crashing, Lb scraping over the top) seemed to reduce its effectiveness. TJ Watt also laid a nice lick onto Fields after he handed the ball off once, which you gotta love in that situation.

The OL seems stout, and despite losing AVT for the year, both young first round tackles played well and the interior is seasoned. I think or defense is in for another physical game in the trenches. Hope our LBs are ready, Steelers went to a 5 man DL at times, so I’m curious to see how McD will handle their rushing attack.

Defensively the Jets front 4 are again poised to be very good. It was funny seeing Horrible Harry in a Jests uniform but William’s, McDonald and Johnson are all good to great players and have the Steelers OL a handful.

I am not so sure about the back end. Seems like they allowed a lot of YAC early on, and despite the big names like Gardner and Cisco, I don’t think they are nearly the unit the Ravens have.

This team strikes me is as a potentially strong wildcard for the back end of the playoff seeding during the hunt. If Fields can play how he has through 1 half I’ve watched, I think they’ll be better than most give them credit for.

All that said, I just feel that the Bills are a tier above these guys. We are a polished (though semi-tarnished at times and places) legitimate Super Bowl level team with years of experience playing against a first year head coach trying to build from the ground up.

If you can watch that film, the Bills coaches and players can too. The Steelers didn't have that luxury.

This has all the signs of a trap game. Bills just came off a very tough and emotional win.

No such thing as a trap game

Last time I checked, we are quite good at doing both.

Are we quite good at doing both against the league's best teams? We've not been good enough in the playoffs, without question. And that's now the whole point with an ascended MVP unicorn leading the charge. We won't have Allen forever. Gotta get it done ASAP.

I believe Rousseau, Oliver and Bosa will have great games this week.

DL is going to look better and get better. That is key. Raven game should be the low point for DL

My personal opinion...the Baltimore OL is much better than what the Jets have. If Oliver and Bosa play they way they did against the Ravens they are going to cause havoc every time Fields drops back. Bosa especially I'm seeing a great game out of.

Both of their tackles of high first round talents. I don’t think think it’s as easy as a match up as I think in terms of 1v1. That said, Fields is not near the same level as Jackson so I could see them being more successful on the edge than last week in terms of finishing.

I do like their tackles. But they are both very young. Membou is a rookie starting his second game and lining up across from an experienced vet in Joey Bosa. I like those odds.

Usually, the Bills players with nagging injuries go Limited on Wed. and Thurs., then Full on Friday......if there still listed as limited on Friday, they are likely not to play.

The Friday injury report will tell the story, IMO.

Tre’s injury is a groin too? You can’t make this stuff up! That has to be a record breaking number of groin injuries!

Last year was the year of the wrist. This is the year of the groin!

Hopefully Cook is a minor issue. I was VERY unimpressed by Davis in the preseason and in limited  attempts in game 1. Looks very sluggish so far this year.

I thought Davis looked heavy in all the off season footage. And it’s showing in his sluggish play. Don’t think he is in great shape.

I'm hoping they use the same strategy against the jets. Just let their offense run wild for the first 3 quarters until they're exhausted. Then come back and throw a few TDs to win. 4d chess . . .
