No that is based on what I saw live at the time. Not had a chance to get to the all 22. But Dorian Williams in particular missed multiple gaps that led to big plays. Taylor Rapp missed one as well. You have to fill your gaps to get Henry moving horizontally. Then you have a chance. If you miss or are late to your gap and he gets going north to south you are in trouble. Our gap discipline was by far the biggest issue.

Bills Edges did not contain on many long rushes.  Football 101 is to set edge do not let opponent get outside your inside shoulder.  The quick misdirection, and Lamars speed- many players failed to contain.  Bosa, Aj, Salamon...

Post game interviews it was said that Bosa seeked out every Bills offensive player, shook their hands, and thanked them for winning the game.  He apologized for his poor play, and the defenses.

Bosa is a true leader and a great addition to the D

Oliver is the one irreplaceable player on our defense. He plays with an edge and physicality that circulates through the defensive unit. His pressure up the middle makes our edge rushers more effective. Eddie is an All-Pro even if he is not classified by the voters as one.

Yea the contain was an issue - but that was more on the Jackson keepers. The Henry runs specifically were more gap control and lane discipline and lack of fill from the 2nd and 3rd level defenders.

Benford is irreplaceable too.  Not only is he an elite corner who excels at press or zone, he is a superior tackler.

Ed is playing his best football, at an all pro level.  Ed made many game changing plays against Raven’s.  Interior pressure wrecks an offensive play

Totally missed that in real time...but yes - too close to roughing passer.  Can you imagine if that was called?  So Billsy!   On the flip side - that hit might have won the game.  Without it - they might have gone for it.

This is the kind of stuff that has led me to look into the ignore feature. Ed Oliver played GREAT. We have some fans that are so miserable that it seeps into my consciousness and I’m not going to let that affect my enjoyment of the Bills. It’s not personal towards you specifically, but there is a group of folks here who spread negativity in a way that I want no part of.

NO, that does not mean I’m only looking for the Pollyanna positives. People who are too extreme one way or the other is not something I want to spend a lot of time with, in sports or anything else. A more balanced approach is healthier for me. To each their own.

Very thankful that wasn’t roughing the passer. Really hoping the NFL eases up on those huge game changing calls unless they’re absolutely egregious.

I can see that they might have called roughing because the refs frequently do on clean plays, but realistically, there was only a fraction of a second between when Lamar released the pass and Oliver hit him. No way could Oliver have held up at that point.

It was a brutal but clean hit.

Yikes. I'm shocked they didn't call roughing the passer on that. Not that I think it *should* be, but they really coddle QBs these days.

My thoughts as well...that would have made for a disastrous ending.

Agree I don't think that is roughing. Even the way they often call it now I don't think it is roughing. Could it have been possible that a ref wrongly called it? Sure. But they are reluctant to that on close plays in game on the line moments. The refs tend to just display more caution at those moments.

I'd be interested to know your opinion on this TD run:

Looks like someone totally misplayed their responsibility here. Rapp immediately puts his back to the play side anticipating a crosser, which takes him out of the play. Bernard is penetrating upfield and gets taken out of the play. Looks like Benford is going to play edge contain while Dorian Williams already has the edge. It's not immediately obvious to me who screwed up here but clearly someone was supposed to take that truck-sized gap that any RB in the league could have coasted through.

The coaches need to get this stuff straightened out, and fast. The Jets are going to see this on tape and lick their chops. This is not a play where our guys got beat 1v1 and I suspect this sort of mistake was the bigger issue on Sunday than everybody losing their matchups.

In fairness to Rapp, Henry is not his key on the play. It was Bernard’s key and he got his ass handed to him. That said, Rapp took a bad angle and displayed his lack of athleticism as he often does. And not to make any excuses for the D’s sorry performance, but they were gassed after chasing Lamar all over the field on the previous play. Pretty much an out of gas piss poor effort by everyone on that play

Got caught without Oliver on the field. Same thing they were doing in 1st half, that Ed adjusted to 2nd half, except TJ Sanders was in and not Oliver. Run away from the 3T. Scoop blocked TJ and Bosa out of play so they couldn't collapse the running lane, hence why it's a massive hole to run through. Bernard tries to fill the gap and key on Hnry but the hole is massive and he get's blown up. Rapp either makes businss decision or wrong angle or is tired.

This is the same I formation the other long runs from Henry came from.

Looks like multiple business decisions were made on that play.

I’m watching the replay now and realizing just how much havoc he was personally causing out there. If he can be our Chris Jones difference maker like this I’m excited to see the rest of the season.

The replay is also making me realize how many of those guys are fairly young. Let’s hope they can work the kinks out, because they gave up 40 in a jiffy!

Man if this is the year he (Oliver) finally puts it all together and plays consistently like this... Id be shocked if we don't get our ring. Im not expecting his stat line has to consistently look like it did, or even that we need multiple huge splash plays outta him every game. Just need his to be a disruptive force and command attention from OC's.

Imagining what that could do for the development of all the young guys around him, and Rousseau. Dudes been a plus player, but we've seen him struggle to close out plays with sacks. Big Ed could absolutely be the catalyst to help Groot really turn the corner and have a 12-15sack type season.

the play I haven’t seen anyone comment on is the 1st and 10 on the ravens last drive.

Everyone that has access to rewatching should check it out.  Off the snap- he explodes off the line and jacks his man 2 yards into the backfield within a second- Henry had to reroute himself a bit and that was all it took to bottle him up.

I friggin love this guy.  Literally everything about him.  Now we just need to get this kind of production out of him in every playoff game.

Yup
