Keon was getting mugged most of the game or he woulda had an even better night…they did even it out a little bit with that late dpi that looked like it should’ve been a no call

that ravens secondary always gets away with a ton against us

he really is kinda the anti-worthy lol I feel like both teams got the guy they want in that draft.  So many of those plays Keon made were just impossible to defend legally

Zero problems with the officiating night. They let both sides play. They had one bad spot on Allen's slide and nothing else to complain about.

Got a GoBills guffaw. Man sees a legendary win with Keon going off for 100+ and thinks, “man how can I  maintain that super edgy message board fandom I’ve cultivated in spite of this”

WRs will be top 10. Will be interesting to see what new complaint folks jump to when this is solidified

I’ll take a closer look at what we did in our secondary that may be true and I missed it…if that’s the case I’d amend it to Coleman would’ve been unstoppable in that game if there was a tighter whistle both ways

I do remember the play where benford had a hand on somebody’s shoulder pad but the ravens looked like they were getting away with a lot of jersey pulls/hooks to me..  that late dpi Coleman drew felt kinda like a makeup to me

Baltimore has maybe the best secondary in the league so this was always going to be a tough game to evaluate. But the separation just wasn't there until the very end. And when they had opportunities to make individual plays they couldn't do it. Shakir had a chance to make a big catch on 3rd down but dropped it after contact. Coleman stepped out of bounds before his 2PC, then failed to make a contested catch on the next try. Palmer supposedly has these great separation metrics but none of that showed up tonight.

The one bright spot was Coleman heating up in the 2nd half. We saw glimpses of the guy that had reportedly been dominating training camp, and he and Allen clearly have developed a good connection that should only get better from here. I'm not sure that is going to be enough though.

“Stepped out of bounds” you mean illegally shoved out of the back of the end zone

Don’t know yet but I’m excited about Keon.

Hate to nit pick - I don’t think Palmer is on the same page with Josh yet - and I’m not happy about how he stopped/gave up on 2 balls one of which was almost a pick.

Used to Mack busting his tail doing everything last year.  Palmer has to be better.

Look the Ravens are awesome.  That’s a great defense.  I think Brady was a bit timid in how he attacked it.

I felt the same way about Brady.  It's almost as if he didn't want to fully trust Josh until it got desperate.  He seemed to be trying to play it safe.

They should have called illegal contact on that play. Last time I checked back of EZ us more than t yds from LOS

I’m so ticked Kyle Hamilton fell to this team in that draft where he was probably the 3rd best player in it.

He’s one of the 5 best defensive players in the league.

Feels like the ravens bait you into short throws and then they close at an absolutely absurd rate and tackle insanely well

an extra yard or two of yac on a lot of those short throws would’ve changed a lot but the ravens were stopping receivers in their tracks in the open field most of the night

wonder what the plan will be next time because quite a few games in a row against them they’ve been well prepared for that

Agreed, defensive players are not allowed to shove the receiver out of bounds unless they are in the process of catching the ball. They can shove the receiver and have some physical contact within five yards of the LOS, but the back of the end zone was well past that.

Palmer had a good first game and I am excited to see him progress. There were some moments on tape where coaches can point to for him to improve on. If he can get some more fight in him, look out. I like the addition.

Exactly,  sometimes early in a game we're so damm conservative with JA.  Let him eat and don't be afraid of opening it up. Too many predictable runs for Cook tonight.

I hear you but I’m pretty sure they wanted to control the clock n keep the Ravens offense off the field as long  as possible. We’ve seen the McD  philosophy against really good offenses a lot over the years. I agree that that can be frustrating as hell at times. .. Also blows my mind when people talk about “WR #1” like we are deprived. Cmon, the beauty of Brady’s O is that everybody eats allows the unpredictability of it. … #1 receiver? …. Even the least known WR’s in the league are world class athletes. I like Brady’s O and think the no #1 is by design to is for that reason. And also, that’s not to mention the salary cap impact. … 1st game of the season so aspects of the team are “works in progress” … Man I love watching Josh air it out tho. Gotta be a healthy mix. .. GO BILLS

Cee Dee Lamb makes eleven trillion dollars a year and can't catch the ball in the clutch moments of the game, his cousin keon is paid in expired peso's and catches everything in the clutch moments.  at least so far in 2025!!

so yes the wr group is good.  They can run their offense which goes through the running game and score a ton of points.

As much as we don’t like it,  the ravens needed the mcd ‘don’t score too fast/control the clock’ strategy bad today haha. If he was on the other sideline they probably win ironically enough 😂. They scored a ton of points but scoring so fast extended the game so much

obviously you’re not gonna go down when ripping off a 60 yard run though haha so it’s a tough spot

Once we let Allen go, Palmer & Coleman turned into Chase & Higgins.

No idea what the issue was for 3 quarters of the game.

(As pointed out above, the Ravens did play softer, but once they had to tighten up, they still made plays)

those behind the LoS passes are looking silly.  At one point the announcer showed that 41% of our passes (at that time) were behind the LoS.    Coleman, Palmer, Kincaid and Shakir should be able to win their matches consistently.

Where are those $10M expired Pesos.  I will take it any day 🙂

I also felt the other 2-pt to Coleman also should have got the flags thrown.  The guy was literally pulling Coleman's pads from his shoulder and definitely inhibited from holding on to the catch.

There was no soft prevent that we saw live at the stadium with our full ability to watch the safeties. The ravens may have blitzed less late 3rd Q to early4th Q ( then attempting to tighten back up) but covered with safeties over the top all night even early in the game. They wanted to make Josh take the check downs and we were biting on that and our screens weren’t working. Weak take to say our receiving success was due to prevent. And inaccurate. The Tight Ends were utilized well in the passing game too.

side note- good to see Kincaid getting dirty in the blocking game tonight

Itheu looked pretty solid when the O is going… Seemed like for close to 3 quarters last night they wanted long time consuming drives, not really even looking down field. They didn’t look very good then. My guess is thats planned to help try to keep the D off the field.

Both Palmer and Coleman showed up big on that last drive.  They each got separation, the thing people have complained about the entire off season.  And Shakir was Shakir.  We’re in good hands literally and figuratively.
