He opted not to play in the playoffs I believe, when he was cleared to play but was only at 80% of himself. 2 Quote

Virgil Posted Monday at 05:27 AM Posted Monday at 05:27 AM (edited) Lamar is now 3-10 against Josh and Mahomes. He's laid more eggs in the playoffs than had good games, and pretty much quit on his team today. He's very talented, but when he has to go one dimensional against a light box, he's not the same QB. DrDawkinstein Posted Monday at 12:04 PM Posted Monday at 12:04 PM (edited) Lamar quit on his team. Disagree if you want but it was fairly obvious. It was the immediate topic in many of our chats before anything else popped up online. He didnt grab at his hammy, he didnt even limp off the field, he went right to the bench to pout and there was no training staff around him. He is an amazing athletic specimen. He is also very soft mentally and physically. That team needs something big to wake it up and turn it around. Not sure if firing the DC will be enough, but probably a good start. edit: Adam Schefter, the secret mouthpiece of the teams, just said on GetUp! "Now, we arent sure whether they were pulling him anyways because the game was out of hand, or if this hamstring injury might sideline him for weeks", so they are already starting to shift the narrative to "We were going to pull him anyways" because he's not going to miss any time because he isnt really injured. Meaning, he essentially pulled himself. Again. Because he's a quitter. Edited Monday at 12:31 PM by DrDawkinstein 2 2 2 Quote

He is crazy lucky they got that miracle win against the chiefs a few years ago…I think if he was winless against the chiefs we’d hear that stat constantly and they definitely should’ve lost that game. 1 win 5 losses just doesn’t seem as catchy for the analysts lol it was bizarre seeing everyone picking the ravens in this game…betting chiefs over ravens is probably the safest bet in sports haha Edited Monday at 01:54 PM by Generic_Bills_Fan Quote

wppete Posted Monday at 01:53 PM Posted Monday at 01:53 PM Lamar not on the same level as Josh. Not even on the same level as Mahomes. 2 Quote

I feel like physically he could be close but mental toughness-wise he isn’t. Seems like he gets really frustrated when a couple drives don’t go well and his play falls off a bunch. Josh and mahomes seem to get even better when things aren’t going well 3 Quote

DapperCam Posted Monday at 02:17 PM Posted Monday at 02:17 PM The only possibility that Lamar didn’t quit on his team is if he had a preexisting injury that they knew about and he said he re-aggravated it. Because if it was a new injury, how they treated it made no sense. He got almost no attention from the trainers. They wrapped a tiny ice pack on the side of his leg and he sat the rest of the game. I’m thinking he did quit/was pulled. For a comparison, Allen broke his hand and played with a goofy glove half of last season. He broke his nose against the Jets and was out for 3 plays. 1 1 1 Quote

I'm dating myself here, but I remember in 1990 when the Bills were getting clocked in Miami and Marv ordered his starters out of the game. They argued with him on the sidelines. They didn't want to come out of a rivalry game. Bruce in particular was pretty animated. Lamar just went straight to the bench. Quote
