Looking at online reactions, there is basically universal praise for the game & for Allen.

Except online Chiefs fans.  How is that group still SO salty?

They need mahomes to be the center of attention. I think it’s becoming pretty clear that Josh is at worst as good of a qb as mahomes and you can probably make the case he’s better. I really think Josh did more back in our shaky oline days than mahomes is doing now

yes sometimes he got himself trapped inside but he was causing issues on the edge and collapsing the pocket numerous times

Lots and lots of yards around his end.  Fake up the middle and Lamar takes off around the end, and Bosa was sucked in with no containment.   This defense requires player to play their position, cover their lanes, and not free lance.

For a veteran, Bosa had too many plays like that in the first half.

He's also not wrong. Never leave. There seems to be one game a generation to remind ppl of this. 67 v the Jets, 81 v. The Pats, 93 v the Oilers, I can't think of a good one since Houston until yesterday though we were on the wrong side for several. You can be mad. You can be negative. You can hate every minute of it. Never ever leave. Never ever turn it off. You miss the best stuff. Here endeth the lesson.

Agreed. I told my nephews recently that all of the greatest comebacks in sports history were only made possible because a team fell way behind. Never lose hope, especially with 17 under center.

I'm going to tell myself that it was a bad defensive gameplan against a great unique opponent. But it's very possible that the safeties are really this bad and that the linebackers are still undersize who are geared more towards the big play and not that regular play. I actually though the defensive line was okay other than some contain issues which they did get better at as the game went on.

It was one game but I think you can talk me into Landon Jackson over Epenesa next week.

Could we have Offensive Player of the Week (most likely) AND Defensive Player of the Week (Ed - monster, game-turning stats and impact) in a week where we gave up 40? I haven't caught up on all the games, so I'm sure there are other defensive players that had big weeks. Heck, I'd give Special Teams Player of the Week to Grandpa "Just Got Off the Plane, Where I am I" Slater too, but that is likely my Bills specs.

It was such a weird game…most plays were either a stuff or a td on the defensive side 😂. oddly enough if the game is gonna go bad on defense against a team like that that’s probably what you want cuz it extends the game at least haha

I really think there’s potential on defense tbh im like 25% of the way through a rewatch.  It’ll get completely overshadowed for good reason but that’s really the only time the pass rush has ever somewhat showed up against a great team.  Feels like the ravens didn’t want to risk a big sack/incomplete passes/turnovers late because the pass rush actually was playing quite well..  that’s my silver lining.  If Dorian strong is pretty good that’s some really nice depth too

I think the defensive line is going to be good. I also think the linebackers are a good matchup for every team except Baltimore. The CB's will be better with better health. The safeties are going to be a concern but I'm hopeful more reps helps Bishop. Rapp is slow but he can make enough plays.

I want Hancock and Jackson to earn weekly jerseys ASAP.

Rewatching and Josh went after Jaire Alexander all night with success. I’m pretty sure he did the same when he was with GB.

Jaire Akexander was absolutely torched by  Rodney Harrison on the Peacock post game broadcast. Straight up called him out as not belonging on the field level awful. I'll see if I can find a link

We weren't able to get affordable tickets while we tailgated so experiencing a pretty solid FOMO hangover this morning.. then again I'm a believer in the butterfly effect so I've convinced myself that 4th down deflection TD would have fallen incomplete if we went

I think it was probably something like this... the dude embraced and loves this city and it's fanbase because of this. He is constantly praising how awesome the fans are. They hit some adversity today and it probably hurt him a bit that 2/3rds of the stadium had just up and left because of that adversity. It would be like if you were in a relationship with your wife and you are constantly praising how she is always there for you and how much she loves you, but then one day you lose your job and she just up and leaves you because of it.

I absolutely understand his mentality on last night and I pretty much agree with everything you said. Just don't think it's worth calling out, we've earned that. My humble opinion.

Now, if this becomes a trend and we can't keep butts in seats no matter what then I'll gladly change my tune, but we spent a lot of time, money, and emotions in the tough years on this team, which is why I look at it like a fluke.

It was late, we were down, we didn't come back last September, long drives ahead, especially for the Canadians. It's just a lot of things, he should have let it be but called us out on the field and again in the press room. I personally didn't think it was worth doing that.

Joey Bosa:

"I'm like in a dream right now...I don't know if I've ever been this happy after a win in my life...we allowed a lot of points, and I can be better in a lot of ways, but made the stops when we had to...I guess when you have Josh Allen you just have to give him a chance and anything's possible...I'm in shock right now...it was unbelievable."

Welcome to Buffalo Joey!

I do...those MF's should be made to stand on the corner with signs saying "I left the Ravens game early" for 8 hours as their punishment before being allowed back in after embarrassing us on National TV like that.  Like this team, the standard is the standard for Bills Mafia and we did not meet that standard last night.  Unacceptable showing for Bills Mafia. When you set the bar that high, you can't settle for anything less.

Has anyone rewatched this game yet?  My blood is boiling watching what looks to me like a pretty clear flowers drop with under 2 minutes to go in the first half that was seemingly not even reviewed. I don’t see much talk about it though so maybe I’m crazy lol

collingsworth was like ‘yea he got it’ and I must not have been looking super close watching it live and completely missed it 😂. Might’ve cost us 4 extra points…should’ve been plenty of time for a td

Loved Josh's post game interview saying they noticed fans leaving

Have Faith.

At the same time, these players spend a lot of time, emotions and their bodies to appease fans.  I think the average NFL player has 4 surgeries in their careers.  Have you rehabbed after surgery?  If you have, it sucks.  I never got mad at Andrew Luck for retiring when you listen to his presser.  It's not just surgery, it's other injuries as well.

A very large percentage of these players will have physical ailments the rest of their lives.

I know they aren't playing for just for the fans, they're playing for their teammates, coaches and themselves.  But when they do this and play well, it brings us happiness.

So yes Josh doesn't understand it from our perspective but we also don't see it from his perspective because we don't live each other's lives.
