Understandable. B’more is a great team and we’re battling injuries and competing with rookies and unknowns. We definitely need the Mafia to bring it tonight!

Dad, on the other hand, will bore you to tears talking about Buster Ramsey, Ritchie Lucas and Warren Rabb while still lamenting we couldn’t sign our 1st Round pick Carl Eller in ‘64..

Oooh - Carl Eller would have been great as a Bill!

I felt that way the year we opened on Thursday night against the Rams, and we put them away with ease.  I felt pretty dumb afterwards.

Honestly I'm with you. I'm very high on the Bills young players but they definitely didn't seem ready in preseason. Baltimore is a good team and their playstyle is a natural counter to ours.

This is what I'm telling myself: KC just lost and will likely be without their best receivers while the play Philly, Baltimore and Detroit. Baltimore is notorious for being their own worst enemy and are in the most competitive division in the conference.

I want the Bills to win. I think they *can* win. But if they don't tonight they have until November until the next time they face a team that has a winning record in 2024 to road test a young roster, and bring back people from suspension and injury.

It's giving me a surprising amount of calm that I am sure will vanish the moment the refs hose us on a call

I'm pretty high on the young players in general but I think Walker might be something special.

I'm strangely calm - especially with so much unknown before a game has even been played.

I feel like when you are about to have surgery and you're nervous, but at some point they give you the drugs and you're like F it - it's completely out of my control and all in the Dr's hands now.  Heal me Dr Josh!

I want to win this one. I will be sad if we don't. I'm not going to take any stock into a week 1 game against a team that is on our level though. I just hope we don't get blown out again like the last regular season against them.

Just win baby!
