I like it. He could be a great call up if we have injuries.

Have zero issue with this, especially to the practice squad. Let him heal up and get readjusted. He is there if they need him later in the season.

Aside from that one outlier game vs teh Chiefs, his playoff averages are as follows:

 

4 Targets per game

2.3 catches per game

45 yards per game

0.3 TDs per game

Hopefully they get Shavers some early season reps at WR and he just proves he belongs in the lineup full time.

I think this is more of a get him up to speed should someone from the top 6 either go on IR, or have a game or two where a couple players miss.

Ok so it was the Colts not the Chargers and …whatever ….he still played great in those two games

He didn’t win us the Colts gave but he did make a big sideline reception when things weren’t going the Bills way in that game 

 

As for the PS signing I don’t mind Davis in that # 4 WR role. It’s clear he’s now insurance for Samuel always being hurt or Moores inconsistency. I suspect he’s either taking Phillips or Franklins spot as they’ll be brought to the 53

I assume he is very cheap and if so it is a solid insurance policy if there was an injury or if someone isn't cutting it.

 

I hope they can make an equally good find now at cornerback, as they are in almost desperate need.
