CSBill Posted August 24 Posted August 24 And I was hoping for a week's break of rest and relaxation after a stressful pre-season. 4 Quote

otagoyellow Posted August 24 Posted August 24 I like the idea of playing the Ravens now rather than mid-season. I agree with @JerseyBills that it will be a great test for the entire team. The injuries and lack of camp time for what seems like 85% of the starters just doesn't give me a ton of confidence. But man, it's going to be an incredible way to start the season - probably the best in years after the Rams opener a few back. 1 3 Quote

Shortchaz Posted August 24 Posted August 24 I’m expecting a slop fest, not hinging anything on this game, need to stay healthy 1 1 2 Quote
SCBills Posted August 24 Posted August 24 We’ll be down Hairston, Hoecht and Ogunjobi.. we’ll see about Tre. Whats their injury outlook? Isnt Likely a 50/50 shot at playing? And Jaire Alexander hasn’t been practicing last I heard. Quote
Desert Bills Fan Posted August 24 Posted August 24 This will definitely be an interesting 1st game. lines will have to play hard nosed football to stop the Ravens run game, and establish the Bills run game. Josh Allen factor = Lamar Jackson factor. i think the Ravens D is very good, Bills D still a work in progress. with Shakir out / limited , need Kincaid, Coleman , Cook and o line to step up early. Maybe see what Palmer can do, but I don’t expect much this week. How about double tight end sets to heavy the run game, with some Knox and Kincaid enabling a dink and dunk passing game? A close game with JA just that much more…Bills 34 to 31 Quote
gonzo1105 Posted August 24 Posted August 24 It is likely that Isaiah Likely is going to be out for the Ravens. That’s big for the Bills as well. Especially since the Bills will likely be down some secondary people 1 Quote

Go Bills! Unlike most, I am super happy we play them in week 1. I’ve stated before that I think the Ravens have the most talented team in the NFL when you break their entire roster down. Week 1 is the perfect opportunity to steal a W. The home crowd will be a huge advantage as the first home game is always rowdy. I am extremely nervous about this secondary. I have no idea who will start opposite Benford, but I am not feeling Tre White or Dane Jackson. I would probably be happier w/ Jamarcus Ingram. Safety is by far the weakest position group which sucks as McDermott’s scheme is heavily dependent on them. We are going to need a big day from the offense. Thankfully, we have other options besides Allen putting on his cape. James Cook will silence a lot of critics if he can go out there and show why he makes the big bucks. I am not worried about our receivers as most. Allen made it work year after year after year. I don’t think this one will be any different. What I would like to see is Josh Palmer making plays. I hated that acquisition, but I would much rather be wrong. 3 1 Quote

Don Otreply Posted August 24 Posted August 24 In my mind I see a Buffalo on the field stomping a raven into the dust, with a thought bubble from the Buffalo, saying, never more…, GO BILLS!!! Quote
