BillsPride12 Posted July 15 Posted July 15 Summer is the King for me....warm weather, pools, BBQ's, golf, outdoor concerts, the childhood memories of having summer vacation 1 Quote
Gregg Posted July 15 Posted July 15 From a weather standpoint, it's really a tie between fall and spring. I picked fall because of football. But spring has the NHL playoffs, so it was a close decision. I don't like the heat, so I am not a fan of summer. Winter to me is better than summer. I don't mind the cold and snow. But fall and spring are 1 and 2 respectively. 1 Quote
Fleezoid Posted July 15 Posted July 15 Fall by a landslide. Even when I lived in the Buffalo area, fall was king. I loved the cool, crisp sunny afternoons. Now in Florida, it's still the best. The temps start turning less smoldering hot. Quote
Figster Posted July 15 Posted July 15 Born in Buffalo, lived all over the United States growing up. Most places did not have winters like up state NY. I missed it. I love the winters.... Quote
Jauronimo Posted July 15 Posted July 15 Living in Texas has flipped this question on its head for me. Although I still have the instinct and feel the pressure to make the most of a fleeting summer, summer is the new winter. You mostly stay inside and ride it out. Spring is actually awesome, all two weeks of it, unlike that disgusting few months of frozen mud we called Spring in WNY. Fall is like the peak of WNY summer down here which is great except the amazing weather lines up with a busier time of year work wise. Winter is typically a non-event, save for the occasional national emergency if we get a millimeter of snow. I'm gonna say September. Quote
ExiledInIllinois Posted July 15 Posted July 15 Autumn... September... Actually, mid-May to mid-June is rather awesome... 10 minutes ago, Jauronimo said: Living in Texas has flipped this question on its head for me. I know what comes after Fall, and it sucks. I like summer almost as much, but I’m looking forward to rather than dreading what comes next. . Edited July 15 by Augie 1 2 Quote
Mark Vader Posted July 15 Posted July 15 Fall is #1 with me. Cooler temperatures, brisk days. Football, Halloween, Thanksgiving, anticipation of Christmas. The best treats being baked at home. 2 1 Quote
Another Fan Posted July 15 Posted July 15 Summer even though our area has had some extreme weather of late 1 Quote
UConn James Posted July 16 Posted July 16 Fall by a mile. Cooler temps and low dew points / humidity. Humidity kills me. As others have said, crisp air, the changing leaves and their smell, soup weather, football. I could pinpoint even more to mid-October. Quote
AlCowlingsTaxiService Posted July 16 Posted July 16 Summer. It means plenty of golf, boating, and less clothing for the ladies 😂 1 Quote
frostbitmic Posted July 22 Posted July 22 By far Summer ... It's a lot easier for me to cool down than warm up, my feet don't thaw out until June. Quote
T&C Posted July 23 Posted July 23 Hurricane season... with no hurricanes in the area when it's all said and done. Quote

BuffaloBill Posted July 23 Posted July 23 Fall for me - love it when daytime temps in 50’s and frost settles in at night. Leaves turning colors is a bomb. Finally perfect weather to watch a live football game, wear a sweatshirt and jeans. 1 Quote
