One of the best 5-6 year runs of all time for a wideout.      Given his career stats I imagine he still is a fringe Hall of Famer.   Just depends on if the writers and the league want him in.    Look what they did to TO, and he wasnt a criminal.

I was going to argue with you about his actions stemming from mental illness.  However, with the number of disorders recognized by the WPA, I am sure he falls into a category of having a mental illness.

 

That said, it's going to take years of work to get him to function like a normal human being.    Especially when an entire subset of the world has no problem with him acting like an ignorant jerk.    Unfortunately, the ability to run fast and catch a football, helped cement his violent, self-centered, nescient behavior. 

 

Luckily for Antonio he had enough money to get to his late thirties without having to deal with the peripheral issues of mental illness, like homelessness, hunger, and jail time.   He has had all the best resources available to him to get well, and he chose not to.    As such, I dont feel too bad for AB.   I do feel bad for the seven children he chose to Father.  I cant even begin to imagine how that will turn out if they cant run fast and catch a football.

Brown could have been a Bill originally.  From what I heard, he didn't answer the call from them during the draft when their selection in the 6th round was close and that made them draft someone else.

We all knew he was going to snap, it just depended on the degree. This is not good if true. This sport is unforgiving and takes chunks out of every player to varying degrees. He definitely needs help.

Less than 0% he would ever make the Hall after all of this.  He ended up a total disgrace to the game

I think i feel bad for anyone with a mental illness so I guess yes I feel bad for him.... but I feel worse for his kids the people he comes into contract with and society in general as long as his is out there being an idiot. I hope he gets help for everyone's sake

Agree 100% like I said he needs help or more people are gonna get hurt. This stuff doesn't get better it gets worse

Let's wait until all the facts come out. I think there's more to the story. The police and prosecutors initially throw everything at the wall and see what sticks. And the police already let him go after talking to him. He is also tweeting openly every few hours, unlike a man in hiding. Could be self defense...or not. Not trying to minimize this, but something smells fishy.
