I feel bad for anyone that would accept $500 knowing their favorite team would never win a championship. That means they are truly  desperate and in need of any quick cash asap. $500 isn’t changing anything. 
 

The amount one would accept obviously varies based on age, lifestyle, future goals, and situation. I obsess over the bills and prioritize over anything but family (even that sometimes is questionable 😆)

 

As stated everyone’s number should be different based on current situation and future outlook, I start thinking hard about it at 850k and up. Once we get 2M range I’m accepting.

How much $$ would it take if it meant the Bills wouldnt win a Super Bowl (only) this year?

 

 

"For the rest of my life" would take $100M, but for just this season, I'd probably sell out the team and my friends and family for like... $50k. Mayyyybe even $10k.

I’d pay up to $10k if it was a guaranteed Super Bowl win. I’d also want to know before the season starts that it was going to happen. That way I could be the most obnoxious, smack talking fan all year and know that I’d be able to back it all up in the end and dunk on everyone.

1. How much $$$ vs the Bills never winning a SB in your lifetime?
2. How much $$$ vs the Bills definitely not winning one this year? (can still win in future, just not this year)
3. How much $$$ vs a guaranteed SB victory this year? (if you take the $, they could still win this year or in the future, just not guaranteed)?
4. How much of YOUR OWN $$$ would you pay out of pocket to guarantee a Bills SB win?

 

For me...

 

1. $100M+

2. $50k (but might be convinced for less)

3. Maybe $500k.

4. I'd write a check for $5k-$10k out of my own pocket if it meant a guaranteed Bills SB win this year. Maybe more considering I'd get it in with my dad still alive, etc

Two things:

1.) Dov Kleiman is one of the worst accounts on Twitter (this question of his proves it. $500? GTFO) and I will continue to advocate for everyone blocking him immediately and indefinitely.

2.) If the proposition is that they will NEVER win a Super Bowl in my lifetime if I take the money, then there is no amount you could offer that would get me to accept the deal. Call me foolish if you want, but my Bills fandom is such a fundamentally large part of my life and bring me so much joy that I just can't imagine taking that deal. My life is good. I'm healthy, I have a roof over my head and food in my fridge, a family and friends that love me, I get to travel here and there. So you're asking me to give up one of the things I love most in life for, what, a bigger house and more vacations? The ability to not have to go to work? Nah. I'm good. Gimme the Lombardi.

I’m thinking like $500K would be my number. That might be insane and it might not be high enough. That number is big enough to matter but not big enough to stop working or drastically change the day-to-day. 
 

I figure that this is an interesting place for this discussion because the people spending time here, in June, REALLY care about the Bills.

LOL at Klieman...$500 is pretty insignificant, so unless someone was in despair, I doubt anyone takes the $500.  1 ticket to Disneyland costs that much lol.  He should have done like $5k, $10k, $25k or something like that to make it more compelling of a decision at least.

 

But $500K?  Thats a different story, heck even $400k, $300k, $200k, etc...this is the kind of money I would use to make a lot more money over the next 3-5 years and impact my life/family, especially in my early retirement goals.   

 

Bills winning a SB isn't going to change my life.  My world revolves around my wife and kids, as long as they are good, my life is perfect.  But you give me an amount of money that I can use in a way to impact or benefit my life/family, then that always takes precedence over sports fandom for me.
