Do we care?

I believe that puts them at 91 officially.

Went to High School in Syracuse and committed to Syracuse for Lacrosse, but then chose Football and switched to Nebraska. Played for Nebraska from 2018-2021. Then transferred to Oregon for 2022-2023. So it seems he spent 6 years in College.

Undrafted Free Agent last year. Signed to the Giants Practice Squad. Activated to their 53 man roster on 12/7/24, then released and signed back to their Practice Squad on 12/24.

Ultimately, just a camp body. But there must be something there that's interesting to be promoted to the 53, albeit briefly, as an Undrafted Rookie and then to be claimed off of Waivers by us.

Camp body, but still weird to me to bring in an 8th pure DT.

The fact that Beane has done basically nothing to increase competition at S is the most perplexing non-move of the offseason to me. I 100% agree with the approach to prioritize the front 4, but I would have brought in a couple UDFAs and brought in some cheap options there that have real potential.

@The Wiz

You missed your chance at starting Hot Replies!

You should have titled the thread "Bills sign Rogers!"

Who cares about the spelling, by the time this board figured it out it would be En Fuego 🔥😀

I think Darrick Forrest was a pretty significant signing at safety in FA.

I am not saying that I agree or disagree about whether the Bills need more safety help. I truly don't know.

However, Beane and McDermott have a reason for everything. They might choose the wrong guy here or there, but they know what they need. The fact that the Bills have done more or less nothing at safety can mean only one thing: they have what they need at safety. Your thought is the same thing many people, including me, were saying a couple years ago when Bernard, coming off a rookie season when he played little and didn't really impress, had no competition for the job.

Put another way, if the Bills think they need someone, they go and get competition. Like DT this year, and corner. And wideout. If they aren't bringing in competition, it means they like what they have.

Darrick Forrest, a UDFA (Wande Owens), and a draft pick in Hancock. Seems like they have brought in safeties to me.

Yeah, he is better than Hamlin. More upside, too. So, even if Bishop isn't ready to start, Forrest is still a good option.

Wait, he was going to play lacrosse at Syracuse and then ended up playing football as a DT?!

Was he going to play goalie or something...otherwise I'm having a hard time with the logistics of this
