Would they have shown more patience and loyalty if the off field stuff wasn't in the background, and given him a chance to bounce back in 2025? Perhaps, but it isn't crazy to say this is a football decision. Even if that is only partly true. Quote

Miyagi-Do Karate Posted Tuesday at 01:57 PM Posted Tuesday at 01:57 PM I bet that he hangs as a free agent, and some team with a struggling kicker snags him mid or late season. Quote

Yeah, the off field stuff sped it along and made it an easier decision, but he was falling off a cliff last year and unlikely to recover. Before all the off field stuff there was already talk about how he was a "technique" kicker, but that specific technique can only last so long and once it goes it's gone. I'd say it was a 50/50 split on the cause. Quote

Hard to fathom how he could be caught in same snare when he saw what happened to Watson. The allegations stem from incidents that occurred when Tucker was a young player, 10 plus years ago IIRC, years before Deshaun Watson entered the NFL. Quote
Old Coot Posted Thursday at 01:41 AM Posted Thursday at 01:41 AM Move along. Nothing to see here. Quote
ChronicAndKnuckles Posted Thursday at 03:20 AM Posted Thursday at 03:20 AM Never understood why athletes who can get anyone they want still decide to do this weird **** Quote
MAJBobby Posted Thursday at 07:57 PM Posted Thursday at 07:57 PM Started struggling on field. A non significant cap number. Has off field drama. Drafted a kicker this was the easiest telegraphed move one could have called. 1 Quote

Brianmoorman4jesus Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago If it was 3 or 4 years ago and this guy was maybe still a top 5 kicker in NFL history, nobody would even care about the extra stuff. Every team would want him and the Ravens wouldn’t let him go. He was terrible last year…so now the other stuff matters. 1 Quote
Billsfed1 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I think this guy is cooked. Really hard seeing another team enduring the media headache over a kicker… Quote
HomeskillitMoorman Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago It feels like the Ravens know that the evidence doesn't look good for Tucker. This guy has been a huge part of their franchise, if they felt even decently at all about his innocence I think they'd have his back much more than this. Even the whole Trevor Bauer thing where he may be "innocent"...he basically still gets off on hitting women and sent all those texts from his own phone and social media. It's so bizarre to me why they put themselves in those positions. Even just at baseline if we're taking him at his word...using your own Instagram and "playing rough" with a woman you barely know when you're a famous athlete is just stupid. 1 Quote
