So, Los Angeles, instead?

Grew up in So Cal, and like most in the country, always referred to it as L A. !

Didn't mean to confuse you.

Damn, did Las Vegas get gerrymandered into LA county overnight?

Oh I know what you meant. I grew up in SoCal as well. Raiders are in Vegas now. They haven’t been in LA since the 80s. Hence my 80s comment. Cheers!

Oh crap!  Duh!

Wow

It is one of those teams I almost never see play, and don't think about much.

This likely means that the Raiders will be the surprise team to challenge the Bills in the AFC this year, a result of my ignorance about them.

Comeback no more: #Raiders WR Amari Cooper has informed the team that he no longer has the desire to play and intends to retire, per The Insiders. Cooper had signed at the end of camp in a hopeful reunion with the team that drafted. Now, he’s headed home from Las Vegas.

Didn't Anquan Boldin pull the same move on us?

Yep...2017 just days after signing.  My real question is how long before he ends up on the Bills practice squad...😉

And there were some who wanted to re-sign him. It was clear he was done, and this just confirms it. Happy retirement!

  • Simon changed the title to Amari Cooper anyone? (has decided he is going to retire)

Dear Coop,

Thanks for helping us beat KC, and for that sick pitch back.

                                                                                  Sincerely,

$136.7M in career earnings. $6M is a lot of money, but at this point it wouldn’t make a difference in his life. If his motivation isn’t from his heart, then this is for the best.

No but I bet if it would have been with the Bills he would have stayed . After being in the Bills locker room for a half a season all others can't compare and once he got a taste of the vibe in Vegas he was like I'm out this aint gonna work , I'd almost bet on it ...

So those Cowboy and Browns fans who were questioning his desire to play football were probably right.

Kind of hard to tell.   He seemed to barely have a pulse to start with.   Interesting dude.
