boyst Posted April 29 Posted April 29 (edited) he looks like a big, bald Joe Pesci or if Pesci and Powder had a baby. Edited April 29 by boyst Quote
PayDaBill$ Posted April 29 Posted April 29 (edited) If you’re a d line player coming in you have to be chomping at the bit given our performance last year. It’s a great landing spot with nothing but opportunity! 4 hours ago, Jalan81 said: Gave me goosebumps when he said Buffalo and everyone cheered… Just seems like a class kid. These days that’s saying something. Edited April 29 by PayDaBill$ Quote
nosejob Posted April 29 Posted April 29 I'm in aww that Beane got him in the 3rd. I was a bit POd that he didn't jump the Lions for Tyliek, but ... Quote

There are too many "ifs" to feel overly confident that the starting D-line won't be about as average as it was last season. But... what I do feel confidence in is the D-line rotation, which had been one of the hallmarks of a McDermott defense, and one of the keys to closing out games, and some of the fourth quarter comebacks of the Josh Allen/McD era. The Bills D was paper thin last season, and at least at D-line, I feel pretty confident that this is going to be a pretty deep group. OK, I do feel a little excited about how this line might pan out... Quote
947 Posted April 29 Posted April 29 I was not happy when Beane traded both 2nd rounders to move up. But then when you realize we would've taken Landon Jackson with one of those 2nd rounders anyway, it worked out perfectly. 1 2 Quote

Exactly, Landon Jackson had a 2nd round graded and would have likely been the pick at 62... And then we got 109 back. So the move up basically cost 132 + 169 to guarantee TJ Sanders. And the Bills got 240 back... Edited April 29 by Motorin' Quote
balln Posted April 29 Posted April 29 Im with rocky above cautiously optimistic. tj sanders is exciting - is he just a taller Ed Oliver ? Walker - is he just Jordan Phillips but w a back injury - a pars defect isn’t something that “heals” Landon - man I hope he turns into maxx crosby. But he feels at worse - a carbon copy of Groot and AJE. Only had 6.5 sacks last year ….. would like to see more finish …. Quote

Need to do a little research there! Quote

Hes gonna slot right into the rotation and make plays I'm stoked! We need these rooks to take the lead right off the bat. 6 weeks at least. All they have to do is get these guys in shape, slap em around a little. It's time we threw some rookies out there on the DLine. Walker's gonna be great. Sanders wasn't my first choice but they'll find the prefect pairing by week 1. I'm expecting this line to be a huge difference from last year. Plus we'll see what surfaces after 6/1. Was hoping we'd get Ty Robinson as well. Quote

I have a friend who is a longtime general practitioner and he told me it's a common injury for dudes with fat f#cking guts who are trying to watch what they are doing when they are hitting the GF from behind. Which tracks for a 20 year old with a bulbous boiler like he has on him. So might be wishful thinking expecting a full recovery. 😂 Quote
LEBills Posted April 30 Posted April 30 The pick I am most excited for. He is going to be the DE we have been waiting for 2 1 Quote

His RAS score is elite (speed, jumps, etc.), but he's universally described as "stiff," with little ability to bend or dip around the corner. To me, an athlete is someone who is fast and quick but also able to move effortlessly, like Bruce Smith or Von Miller. This guy reminds me more Phil Hansen. That's no insult, either. A nice player, but "athletic"? We need a term for "fast and quick but not particularly supple." "High motor" or "lunch pail" lol kinda joking but also how I picture those being used correctly Quote
Mark92 Posted April 30 Posted April 30 So they reached big time in the 2nd round but got a steal in the 3rd. Probably evens out. 1 Quote
