He had to catch and roll and stay in bounds. Wasn't impossible or anything but higher degree of difficulty than it needed to be. Expand of course but to gunners point, part of the reason was Andrews knew he absolutely had to get it in the end zone and the placement made it harder to coordinate the catch AND the score and he had to have both 1 Quote

Another Fan Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Come on I can't be the only one that had intense flashbacks of the 2007 Dallas game after the failed 2 point conversion. Luckily different outcome 1 Quote

TheFunPolice Posted January 20 Posted January 20 The fumble was an incredible play by Bernard to be able to punch it out in space like that. That was an elite play. The 2 pt conversion was catchable but a little low on the throw and his feet slipped as he went to catch it. 1 Quote

The reason he drops it is because it is behind him.and he is trying to come back for it while also make sure he falls backwards into the end zone not out at the 1. Watch it back. That's a lot on the Quarterback. Expand That's crazy. He had it in his hands, waist level, wide open. 1 2 Quote
BillsfaninSB Posted January 20 Posted January 20 I don’t feel sorry for him. But he seems like a good guy and nice player. Quote
TheFunPolice Posted January 20 Posted January 20 My point is that it wasn't quite the straightforward drop some are making it out to be 1 1 Quote

GunnerBill Posted January 20 Posted January 20 On 1/20/2025 at 3:22 AM, klos63 said: He fell back in the endzone. That's not on Lamar at all Expand If he catches it and falls he is short. He is trying to come back slightly for the ball and then adjust to fall into the endzone. It increased the degree of difficulty on the play. He should still catch the ball. But is was a poor throw. 1 1 Quote
gonzo1105 Posted January 20 Posted January 20 If he catches it it’s a TD even if he doesn’t get in initially his body is twisting towards the goaline and would have slid in. Benford or any other Bill wasn’t close enough yo touch him. If we’re gonna nitpick that throw don’t defend Allen’s throw to Kincaid 1 Quote
