Last we saw him on the field he was hurt.

Personal issue - don’t rule out they’re hiding he’s banged up.

Nothing wrong with that either.  Just the vagueness of this with the uncertainty tells me it’s injury related.

A serious health crisis in someone close to Cooper would fit the circumstances and perhaps the health crisis is not yet resolved, but seems to be resolving - thus "I hope so" and "taking it day by day"

I didn't want to even bring that up but since you did that was my immediate thought listening to McDermott.  I don't know if it was a physical or mental health thing with him or someone close to him.  A football game with a bunch of kids (in a lot of our eyes) isn't that important.  Plus, you can get great value on the Denver point spread right now.

Samuel had a nice game, to be sure.  8 receptions on 7 targets.  Wasn't playing outside though, which is where having a receiver who can get separation does make a difference.

That's how bad White was at QB. Samuel caught a pass intended for someone else...lol

I'm relieved the Bills aren't tied to Cooper long term, they have options:

They can brush their hands and the end of the season and say "Oh, well" no cap harm.

Or, they can offer him the money (doubtful).

8 receptions on 7 targets? Now who is defeating the entirety of math itself?

This made me laugh, then I thought.... what if there was a pass targeting say Shakir, it got tipped high in he air and he caught it... would he have 1 reception on 0 targets?  Like I literally dont know. but that would be interesting kinda like Josh's TD reception with out a reception.  Maybe I need to head back to the coffee pot... or worse LOL

If the narrative on Amari is true, it wouldn’t exactly be shocking for him to miss Sundays game.

I'd be shocked if he missed the game, but who knows what's going on in his personal life so I won't judge.

As a purely football matter, I don't love it.  If he's back at practice tomorrow, all good.. but if it drags on, I'm not sure how much of the gameplan he'll be involved in if he does play.. aside for some basic routes and decoy plays.

Still not sure if the fighting with him and Sean Salisbury was a bit or not. Entertaining nonetheless.

Those guys loved each other. Salisbury has gone on about what great friends they are. they continued to work together on each other's shows for years after their espn show ended.
