Was there a report on that?

looked like the play he was hurt it was the wind got knocked out of him -  looked like he got hit with a fist low when they were swinging at the ball on that play

I didn't personally see a report, but someone here said McDermott said something about it.

I can't tell if you're joking or not.

Last year their LT was out for the AFCCG. Their #2 WR Mecole Hardman came off IR right before the playoffs. Their #3 WR Toney was out for the AFCCG. Their #1 CB L’Jarius Sneed was questionable with a calf injury and then went out with a concussion in the playoffs. Patrick Mahomes had a high ankle sprain, which is often a month long injury, even though get toughed it out.

That's a good amount of injuries. The whole talk last year was if the Chiefs could overcome all that adversity.

It's our chance now to overcome it. And I think we can.

Obviously I'm exaggerating a bit. It's not that serious. Overall they have consistently been one of the healthiest teams in the NFL over the last 3 years. It's dumb and I'm being a baby about it. Go Bills.

Probably the news most expected on the injury front and sucks that Benford is already ruled out unless something weird happens again where he actually plays after all (I believe McD said Poyer wouldn't play in a game earlier this year but ended up being out there after all).

But Bernard straight up has that 'Dog in him'. Was so wrong about this guy but you get the sense he's playing no matter what on Sunday night.

that was my point from my first post in this topic....You have to make a roster move to get Haack on the gameday roster for sunday.  either someone gets cut or Martin goes to IR and is done for the year.   I do not think they can just cut martin and bring him back next week because he is injured.  I don't think you can make an injury settlement release in this scenario and resign him.

so that goes back to Davis and Diggs now both injured, one out and one in with a potential to aggravate it during the game Andy Isabella is 100% going to be called up and same for Klein since Bernard even if healthy enough to make the gameday active roster you won't know how long he will go before the injury is too much to play with or he just is not 100% and is a liability.

Do they really need Isabella?

I'd rather go with one less WR and an extra DL this week.

Good points about the Martin roster spot. Will be interesting to see how if all plays out. Maybe move Spector to IR and sign Klein to the active roster? Klein can play all the special teams Spector does.  That allows you to bring up Haack as a PS elevation only.

This is huge.  Douglas covers Kelce and who covers Rice?  If it comes down to needing our defense to need a big stop, we are going to be outmatched in certain positions.  I don't like this at all.  If we don't have Bernard and Johnson too, we are in trouble.

There is definitely a certain “tone” to your posts leading up to this game.

I hope you are staying away from sharp objects.

If memory serves correct, Taron Johnson normally takes over Kelce-duty.

(more like Kelce doody. Amirite)

My take from the Bernard video, he looks like a guy that can run straight but stopping fast and cutting...that's a whole different story.  Kinda' gimpy looking to me but trying not to show it.

Cam Lewis has played very well. Not a huge loss there. The loss is the depth. If Lewis gets hurt we’re thin.

I don't see it. I see a guy that gets picked on whenever he's in the game.

I loved the positivity in training camp, but man, I don't want cam anywhere near the field against Mahomes

Taron Johnson playing is huge.

Bernard has been excellent this season but I'm confident that Dodson and a combo of Klein/Williams can fill the LB roles just fine.

I'm confident the defense can play at a high level regardless of the injuries.

Game comes down to how the OLine plays vs. the Chiefs defensive front and if McDermott can limit his game management gaffes. We will find out soon enough.
