Kansas City at Buffalo in the Divisional Round!

So looking at the weather, I see that y'all are getting more snow up there right now, and even more to come over the next few days. Question: Will the Bills have the stadium 100% cleaned out (of snow) by game time Sun night, or will it be another clusterf***?

They have not been good on the road vs big time games or hostile environments.

Lost to GB this year, Broncos, then Bengals late last year on road. Killed by Tenn and Balt in 21. Very uneven on the road versus good teams.

Let's hope they are just tired.  Wrecking them would be a real treat

Unfortunately, I believe Mahomes will be motivated by the road playoff game narrative. The rest of them are still thinking they got screwed over because Toney is a clown

Im hoping KC plays like the Eagles....Solid record, lots of star talent but cracks beginning to show down the stretch. They play a road game and Baker shreds them. Eagles looked terrible on both sides.....We need the same swagger the Bucs showed. Game was one  sided. I think if we get up early and click we can make it ugly. We would have destroyed Pitt until the blocked FG,that changed the entire game.

Snow should finish by Friday so they will have enough time to remove it.  Where they are going to be able to put it is another question.

As someone that was there Monday and will be there Sunday... I hope it's snow filled again.

The snow straight up in the air throughout the stadium was beautiful.

I was disappointed the production didn't feature it more after each score - it was an extremely cool visual they could have shown more imo

Haven't we been doing that for the last half of the season except Rapp comes in for Poyer and Poyer slides down into the dime/hybrid/big nickel role? Why would we change what has been working (if Rapp is healthy)

Because we don't have the linebackers we normally have so we almost need that to be more of a core part of our base. Tbh it is a bit about how do we get our best XI healthy defenders on the field more often than not?

The good news is that the snow band today is all up in North Buffalo, Amherst, Williamsville, Tonawanda, Grand Island, etc..  it should not affect the Bills practice and preparation, other than being super windy.  The band is supposed to move back down towards Orchard Park tonight and Thursday will be a snowy day there.

Still some snow over the weekend but nothing crazy and the winds are not looking too bad.  I'm sure the Stadium will be looking good for Sunday, much better than the Steelers game.

I like this optimism. Hope you are right by a million.

You think they put Rasul on Kelce? Interesting. WR Rice looks dangerous. Someone has to account for him and his speed.

I like Benford v Rice. Even Elam. Rice isn't NO playoff experienced WR.

Aside from Allen I would say Cook is the key to this game. They have to run the ball and if Cook has a big day, then that will help our defense. With the injuries on that side of the ball it is definitely in the Bills best interest to keep Mahomes and company on the sideline.

And Ty Johnson!! I say Ty because he's more physical and has better ball security

Well we dont know yet who we will have and who we wont. But I definitely get and agree with your point about getting our best defenders on the field. I would rather have AJ Klein and Dodson (or spector, or williams) than Rapp playing LB. And if we DID shift a safety down to LB/hybrid I would just imagine it would be the same guy we have been asking to do that for the majority of the season than swap Rapp/Poyer roles...

So what I am saying is, IF we were to use that look in more of our core part of our base D, then treat it like our dime package and have rapp play safety and poyer play in the box, like both have been doing.

1. Maybe Taylor Rapp (if healthy himself)? In some sort of dime / hybrid linebacker / big nickel role?

2. Yep, and again our athleticism at the second level if our starters end up being Klein, Dodson and Lewis concerns me there too. Might have to really ask the ends to be disciplined and that takes away from your pass rush. What would you rather have? Pick your poison.

3. Agee. I think we are going to need another exceptional performance from Josh and his supporting cast, which - other than the Knox drop right after half time - showed out pretty well for him vs Pitt.

The middle of the DL needs to collapse the pocket. I'd like to see a Floyd/Rousseau/Jones/Epenesa pkg. at times during the game. I'm saying it now, Von Miller will have 2 sacks. Book it!!

They certainly stuffed the Dolphins run game. I think the Chiefs can slow down the run game if they commit to it. Its a tough ask because Allen is so good. They also will have a spy on Allen.

Well, they didn't shut down us, the Packers, Eagles or Raiders in recent weeks before that and lost all four games.

Hence the data.

:)

Also, they haven't beaten a playoff team all season other than for Miami.

Talk about playing with house money.

Honestly, I'd rather see Klein than Dodson this game. IMO, Klein is a better tackler and diagnosis the play a little quicker

Since Chiefsplanet people are constantly lurking here 👋 and linking to posts on this site, I have a few things to say..

1. To those of you taking shots at the City of Buffalo, or saying things "who want's to go to Buffalo?", please stay in your lane. You live in Kansas City, not exactly some cosmopolitan spot. You are in the middle of nowhere.

2. We did not "steal" the Shout song from another team! It has been our theme song since 1987. How do you even come up with that?

- Patrick Mahomes didn't give us our respect after we beat his Chiefs during the regular season. We all saw what he said to Josh Allen. That was all kinds of screwed up.

We have a lot of experience now. We're battle tested. This game will not be close. It's our time. We're due. Right here. Right now.

This part really shouldn't be forgotten, I know Allen played nice and said no hard feelings when asked about it at the time. But the whole team got to watch the Chiefs have a melt down about losing to them and blame the refs and complain about it.

If that's not something they can use as motivation in this game I don't know what is.
