I think they're pretty much as good as their record.  They've had two losses that were inexplicable to me at the time, but it turns out the Colts are an up-and-coming team and they're a division team for the Steelers who always play them tough.  They split with the Browns.

 

Going to be very interested to see the 49ers game.  That will be touted as a possible Superbowl preview.

The Cowboys are built light, and designed to fight a shootout where they can use Parsons to rush the passer. Correct. Everyone should remind themselves on a weekly basis this is a matchup league. Miami's OL is one of the worst in the league, they are not going to physically abuse Dallas's front like we did. That being said if looks like their starting NT Hankins will be out again so that will give Miami an advantage in the run game. Good news is that Malik Hooker was back at practice so he should be good to go. I think the Cowboys can limit Hill. Biggest thing for them is controlling the run on early downs. Their defense runs through an elite pass rush and they never had a chance to tee off against us. Knock Tua around a bit and they can turn the game in their favor.

 

Let's not forget the Cowboys were looking like clearly the 2nd best team in the league before they came to Buffalo and got punched in the mouth. That level of play didn't completely disappear overnight. Miami will have their hands full.

Agreed.  Dallas seems to have a defense built entirely to stop today’s passing offenses.  It’s why I think they can rebound (or hope they can) and give Miami a much needed loss. Miami can run… but only to set up the pass.  The passing game is their game. 
 

Its also why I think Buffalo dominated Dallas last week. We went full heavy run and they just didn’t have the tools to respond.  They expected Josh to be Josh… and Brady designed a game plan that Kyle Allen could have delivered.  
 

This is also why Buffalo, if they can keep this level of intensity and focus up, are getting a lot of talk as the team no one wants to play.  Because we all know what Josh can do… but if they can flip a switch and run with power… how do you defend them?    IMO, they go as far as the defense can take them at this point.  The very real run threat combined with the Allen passing/running game is a nightmare to try and defend.  
 

edit: wanted to add… I hope they get a big early lead and then the game is comfortable enough to put some plays on tape to give other teams something to think about.   End arounds, different formation groups, etc.

Well, not quite.  You note it yourself in your next sentence.  One of the reasons why Dallas struggled to cope with that power run stuff, is that 1) their attention was divided between Cook and Josh....you could see it on several plays, they were worried about what Josh could do to them as a runner, OR, 2) if they threw all their chips into stopping the run, they feared the Josh Allen Air Show.

There's always going to be that fear in there heads that one of the times Josh is really still going to have the ball, all Cook needs is some hesitation. Plus some of those runs on the edges Allen has been to his right and I swear there's going to be a play where he gets the ball back one day.
