C.Biscuit97
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 dude owes 90% of his earnings to Brady. Plus his team ends up hating him. Other than that, love the idea. we need to stop recycling the same garbage coaches. There is some young guy out there who is the next great coach. Let’s stop settling for guys who used to wipe Belichick’s butt. 1
jethro_tull
" In the 2007 season, with McDaniels at the helm of the offense, the Patriots set NFL records, scoring 75 touchdowns (67 on offense, 50 passing and 17 rushing) and 589 points, leading to rumors that McDaniels might leave the Patriots for a head coaching job.[10] McDaniels withdrew his name from consideration, however, during the Patriots' January 2008 playoff run. Shortly after the Patriots' loss in Super Bowl XLII, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick gave McDaniels a five-page typed report on what it takes to be an effective head coach and run a winning organization, which McDaniels termed "his bible." Throughout the 2008 season, the two would meet to discuss the report and allow McDaniels to ask non-coaching questions that he brought to later head coaching interviews.[11] Starting quarterback Tom Brady suffered a season-ending injury in Week 1 of the 2008 season. McDaniels directed the Matt Cassel-led Patriots' offense as the team finished the season with an 11–5 record."
Jauronimo
I don't know if he could get the offense on track but I am certain he could alienate the entire team and cause a locker room mutiny trying. Its worth a shot right? Edited November 8, 2023 by Jauronimo 3 4

Are you talking about bringing him in as HC or OC. I don't see McDermott getting fired this year as I think Terry will give him the 2024 season. Dorsey I could see being the fall guy when the season ends assuming the Bills don't turn it around.
dorquemada
As an OC? We could do worse, like we currently are 1

Pretty sure when he took over as Rams OC after being fired by the broncos, that offense stunk. Mango
This might be the second most “Pegula”decision. It is closely behind hiring some 90’s player like Jim, Thurman, or Andre to take over play calling.
MJS
Has he done anything of note without Brady? He keeps spectacularly failing every time he leaves New England. I just don't think New England coaches do well outside of that bubble. 1

hondo in seattle
Other than NE, where he was subservient to Papa Bill, McDaniels creates dysfunction and despair everywhere he goes.
TheFunPolice
he seems to be a miserable, unlikeable person. No thank you.
Low Positive
How about Urban Mayer? He runs a pretty sweet spread offense. How about Chip Kelly? Now that's a creative offensive mind if I ever saw one. No. There are certain personalities that you just don't bring into the building. Then again, there probably aren't that many options from Carolina left. 😎 34 minutes ago, jethro_tull said: Love him or hate him, I believe he could and the Bills should persue him. TheyCallMeAndy
Josh Allen will make any OC look good. If McDaniels can teach and coordinate the offense effectively as well as display strong situational play calling, he could work. I don’t want him as a head coach though, no way.
