We had 12 offensive penalties against Pitt.  It would be double if that was the case in this game from one player on KC.

HC was out to lunch- you never give Mahomes a 2nd chance…

 

4th and short, the Chiefs would have gone for it. It was the right choice IMO. The safety missed a chance at an interception. The Lions have a bad secondary, only one good player.

If you’re looking for what separates mahomes and Allen it’s the play after the 3rd and 17 conversion. Mahomes rushes to the line and calls a play knowing the defense will be in the same formation and takes advantage of it.

 

it’s those little details that creates separation among the elite.
