They lost two OCs in consecutive years - Pederson and Nagy. They lost their highly regarded QB coach last year to be the Giants OC. They also lost Chris Ballard who is regarded as an excellent talent evaluator to be GM of the Colts and Ryan Poles last year to be GM of the Bears. They have kept Spags the same reason we have kept Leslie. Older guy, had a go at the HC thing earlier, was fired. Seen by most now as a DC. Bienemy there seem to be some special circumstances surrounding. I have heard that he interviews poorly. I have also heard that is what out there publicly regarding his conduct in previous roles is "the tip of the ice berg." Not sure he had even been requested for any interviews this year which might mean the NFL has reach its conclusion on him. I have also been told by one KC fan with decent connections not to be shocked if he and the Chiefs mutually part company after the season. Would be a bummer to lose OC in back to back years but there’s some good offensive coaches out there and we will obviously be a very attractive destination for them. If hired by Carolina, will he be the first head coach to coach from the skybox - because he's psychotic? Eastport bills Posted January 19, 2023 Share Posted January 19, 2023 Why would the Bills allow this 1st year OC to interview for an HC job this weekend. Shame on Beane and Sean. Usually these guys have to prepare for these interviews and take away from the hyper focus vital for this game. Why give Josh the slightest doubt about his commitment. If the Bills lose they should rethink the whole process. Why doesn’t the NFL make playoff teams untouchable for coaching interviews? Who on their staff has been sought after other than Eric Bieniemy? And Eric has been a "top HC candidate" how many years now and never gets the job.
