Big Hat Josh

Pretty cool story, actually.  They made their debut on Shark Tank last year and this is going to help them immensely ...

What is the big hat company?

The big hat company is called Noggin Boss, a Phoenix, Ariz., based company started in 2019 by Gabe Cooper and Sean Starner.

The hats made at Noggin Boss are mostly customizable, with users starting with the color and size. Prospective buyers would then have the option to add a patch or customize the hat further. The patches do not feature any sports team logo, and instead are generic pictures like a shamrock, a flamingo, a lobster, #1 Mom, #1 Dad or others.

However, the site shows fans wearing hats that feature sports logos like a Cardinals logo, 76ers logo and others, though those are not commercially listed on the site.

Noggin Boss on Shark Tank

NFL players wearing the hats in big spots have helped Noggin Boss take off, but the big boon for the company came when the Cooper and Starner appeared on the ABC show "Shark Tank" in 2022 to promote the product and attempt to get an investor.

The two were able to get Daymond John to invest $50,000 for 30 percent of the company.

That’s pretty cool!

Fun fact. Josh Allen is no longer repping Labatt because they didn't show up to a scheduled meeting to renew for this year. They didn't call to apologize, never tried to reschedule. Nothing. He didn't sign with Corona out of spite for the meeting, more money, or any bad feelings. Labatt just totally dropped the ball.

If that doesn't make you want to drink Molson....

Wouldn't it be counterproductive to put a diminutive person like

in a hat that only emphasizes his economical stature? 🤔

They saw a better target market in female beer drinkers 35-55, and got Zach Wilson? 🤔

Honestly, they didn’t get anybody. It was just a total cluster fudge. Not part of any plan.

It doesn't.   Same way I won't switch from Frank's hot sauce just because he and Diggs have their own sauces.

Did I buy some to try and because the money went to Oshei? of course.

I was just making a joke.

But also what you’re saying is different. That’s just two companies with two sauces. Labatt didn’t move on. They were (are?) totally inept.

I know you were.  I just don't like molson. LOL.

But it really is strange that they would have just cut Allen off like that with no reason at all.

I have so many hot sauces in my fridge, and most have their place.  Tapatio goes on Eggs, Cholula on Mexican, Franks for wing sauce, Sri racha for asian food (And hot dogs... it also works really well in spaghetti oddly enough), Green Sri racha for adding heat to things, and the occasional random like tiger sauce when i wanna get a little wild.

There is nothing you could do to me to make want to drink Molson. I'll take a PBR or even a Natty Ice before anything from Molson. Good on Josh for walking away from them though if that's the level of respect they want to show. Done. G'bye now.

I was wondering if I was the only one who didn’t get the big hat craze. Cool story about how they started the company, went on Shark Tank, and now are experiencing some success. But every time I see those damn things, I think to myself “who would want one of those?” Guess I’m getting old or something, because I don’t get it.
