This is so Belechickian … our new practice squad WR was only released from his previous practice squad role on Tuesday .. his previous team … the Pittsburgh Steelers. He had been with them since September 7. I am certain that we will not use his knowledge of the Steelers to our advantage :). Nice one McBeane.

Heck you can even buy a Jaquarii Roberson #6 Pittsburgh Steelers jersey if you are one of those twisted types

He could be 2nd by the end of the season. If not this year, next.

If that moron Urban Meyer can beat us 9-6, anyone can beat us.  Never take anyone lightly in the NFL.  The Steelers A game vs our B game will result in a Steelers victory.

That's a very good point.  And Josh had to be hella tired as well - he was the team's leading rusher

The world saw him skip a pass to McKenzie.  What the world won’t acknowledge is that only TWO players were on the field for all 90 plays.  Dion and Josh.  Sure their defense was tired, but they were rotating people.  Josh was running it and throwing it north of 60 times.  He was spent.  He couldn’t come out of the game.  And that throw proved it.  The narrative will continue that he missed a wide open guy to win the game.  I saw Nick Wright use that pass as a reason Josh should not be MVP.  Others will to when they try to make a point.  Don’t acknowledge the forest, just focus on a single tree.

I think I read somewhere that the ball slipped out of Josh’s hand…am I dreaming?  I haven’t gone back to watch the play.

It’s the NFL and no team should be of the mindset teams are going to lay down for them. Steelers are a proud franchise so the Bills better come out ready and prepared. No time for a let down.

On a separate note, I saw a stat that Josh has FOUR fumbles this year. I’m aware of the MIA one but don’t recall the other three. That certainly has to improve!

I believe the others are all messed up snaps, 2 of them with van roten

Saw this in a week 5 picks newspaper.

Bills 31, Steelers 14: The Steelers pick Buffalo for Kenny Pickett’s first NFL start? May as well put him in a barrel and send him over nearby Niagara Falls. Line: Bils -14

Hopefully he's more beat up in the game than he would be going over the falls.

Now you made me go look up Jack Kemp’s stats. So much there to unpack, but his career high was 8 rushing TDs in 1963. That year he had 50 carries for 239 yards. Those must have mostly been goalline scores and 3-1 QB sneaks.

Whats more interesting is that in 1964, as we all know, the Bills won the AFL championship. What I didn’t know was that the starting QB, Jack Kemp. had a completion percentage of just over 44%.  He had 13 passing TDs but 26 INTs! Thise numbers get you cut now, but back then it got you into the Pro Bowl.

Maybe.  To me it looks like his lead foot also gets stuck in the turf.  He rotates from looking at the middle of the end zone to McKenzie on the right side.  His foot only makes it half way.  Fatigue likely played a part.

If McDermott wants a real running game then tell him to go tell Beane to get him an actual starting quality NFL RB

The best running back in the world needs an OL that is well-coached and filling their assignments, keeping defenders off of him

There's a reason that year after year, NE was able to plug other team's discards, no-names and late round picks in and have a servicable run game - behind the meticulously coached machine that was the NE OL under Coach Scar

If McDermott wants a real running game, since he can't get Coach Scar, tell him to get an actual starting quality NFL OL

Josh would also run less if he weren't constantly having to evade defenders

By this logic, the Ravens had a very successful 9:29 minute, 93 yd drive in the 4Q on Sunday.

Guess we weren't shutting them down at all...

Oh Wait, they didn't get points out of it.  We did.

They were definitely moving the ball that drive. The rest of the half, not so much.

Allen was definitely moving the ball vs. Miami all game. Had issues getting in the end zone and even kicking FG's.
